The website had a huge update. Lots more buttons and stuff to click and explore.

Of course, I could just summarise everything you need to know for you.

Do remember that the pictures are linked in the in-site image viewer, so you can scroll through them via the controls at the bottom bar that appears when you click on one. ^.^

Anyway, let’s move on, shall we?

The Kagamine twins, in their 3-dimensional “SEGA” forms. Of course, there aren’t any screenshots of them actually in-game, so no one (outside of SEGA) knows how they’ll turn out.

Moar screenshots I’ve yet to see. It seems Miku will be able to interact with the items you accessorise her room with…but does she do it on her own? Or do you have to do it yourself Sims-style?

Miku gets an ‘official’ outfit from Battlefield Valkyria: Gallian Chronicles, also known as Valkyria Chronicles in the English release. She gets Alicia Melchiott’s outfit. I’ve never played that game before, though I’ve seen a gameplay video. Anyone out there play it?

Also, looks like Miku will be getting more ‘official’ outfits in the future. I’ll be honest though, if they try a Sonic outfit, I’ll vomit blood all over. Orz

It seems the SEGA is fully supporting OSTER project, what with the music previews and the Amazon link. Then again, they’re going for the whole “happy-happy songs” thing for the game.

So don’t expect stuff like SETSUNA, BLACK★ROCK SHOOTER or Melody.exe to be brought into the game. XD

Yet another gameplay video was released, this time of Miku dancing away to OSTER project’s 恋スルVOC@LOID. The animations look quite smooth, and it seems the game will follow other current music-based games; if you miss a note, Miku goes silent. LOL at the Game Over sound. Orz

Anyway, here’s the video for your convenience:

There’s also a video recording of the live feed of the -Project DIVA- stage event at the Tokyo Game Show (which we all were denied), so thank goodness. I always wanted to see what the hell they were doing behind the static image. You can run the stream from here.

SEGA’s sure putting in effort for this game, what with all the costumes, trailers, and figurines. I wonder just how far they’re willing to go…

Also, while I didn’t even glance at his post to find out about this, kudos to kevinay for posting about it first. And such.

HAHA I thought the player would play well in the demo. Nice game over. XD
I would really buy this once released. XD

You never know. OSTER was literally announced out of the blue. We only know kz’s gonna be it, then they announced OSTER during TGS, so who knows if they’re inviting other Ps that didn’t tagged their songs on Piapro. You are right on ryo though, I doubt he’d be in there.

On the happy-happy song thing though… I don’t know, Kobayashi Onxy tagged SAIHATE for the game and there’s a good chance it’ll make it in, since it’s famous and all. That song’s anything but happy. =X

I’m lovin it more as I see more screenshots of Miku Project DIVA.. Wonder when they will announce its release date..

@ Andrei-kun: Yeah, I was thinking how the demo player could fail at that song since they could have game-tested it so many times.. Oh well, I just want to get my hands on that game ASAP.. ^^

@ Miyuki: I wish Roy’s song are in it… Im ok with OSTER Project and Livetune being in the game.. We need more famous songs in it.. -_-

  • TheFuzzy says:

@Andrei-kun: I’m willing to bet they did it on purpose. lol

@Miyuki: I cannot imagine any of those songs associated with the game. I knew what they’re aiming for immediately when I saw the first two gameplay video. I can understand songs like MELT and maybe STARGAZER, but BLACK★ROCK SHOOTER? Naw, definitely not.

SAIHATE has a “happy-ish” tune to it though. Sad songs COULD fit, but definitely not dark songs.

Unless they have some stuff we haven’t seen yet. ;)

somehow they announced that the release date would be around july, but somehow i already managed to download the game into my psp. and the game is cool.
about the part where miku interacts with the items can’t be controlled by us, she does it by herself…
i’m really glad that there will be the twins inside, but it’s just a costume as miku will still be the one singing unless you play their songs. which will have their own singing.

the gameplay is fun! yet really hard to get perfect. but then some times you can see the game lagging quite a bit …. nevertheless.. the game is still awesome!!! i wished they could put in more songs for len though.

Yup, there are quite a number of leaks online already.. Oh well, nothing is great than getting the original one + the nendo Miku as a bundle.. XD

      Well, I still cant understand how to unlock the Kagamine Twins but I already got Luka, Akita and Yowane.. ;_;
