…my humble apologies for that outburst. Also, I’m more mature than that to resort to such primitive language.
However, I am now facing a serious issue. An issue that could very well spell the end of my future…somewhat.

But seriously though, I have a problem: I’m going to run out of money, and probably even go into debt if I’m not careful.
The reason (or rather, a pair of reasons) is this:

These are Kagamine Nendoroid figurines, chibi-ish figurines of the famous VOCALOID twins, RIn and Len (in case you didn’t know). They’ve only just arrived in Singapore, and you can probably find them in local figurine stores, say La Tendo for example.
Anyway, it turns out (according to a “reputable” source) that each Nendoroid will cost about SGD$58. Since I definitely cannot live with only one of them, that will add up to nearly 120 bucks.
…crap.
However, expensive as they are, they are really, really cute. They can actually exchange parts (as in officially guaranteed), and come with blank faces for you to paste decals (included) on to create custom faces. They’re also not ecchi at all. ZETTAI KAWAII! (>w<)
If I do blow my savings on these, it will mean I’ll probably have trouble getting these other things:
- A (better) hard drive enclosure, current cheap-ass-hell one is turning RUSTY. Holy.
- A 16GB flash drive, for polytechnic purposes.
- A 500GB 2.5” drive, for the laptop, so I can actually begin digitizing all those tapes for the club.
- A 1TB hard drive, to store more stuff.
- My preordered Figma Kagamine Rin and Len (which should cost about the same).
- Merchandise from AFA, as if there won’t be any exclusive stuff to buy.
On the other hand, hard drives (like other techie stuff) get’s cheaper as time goes by, so waiting it out might benefit me in the long run. I’ll probably still have to starve myself during the weekdays to make up for it though.
It also doesn’t help that the more I stare at the pictures, the more I feel like going down there myself to buy them. orz

Truthfully, I think getting a HDD for sch/work/other stuff would be of higher priority (at least to me), since there’s an actual practical use for it. For my case… I’ll skip the figures, skip the HDD, clear lots of old data, save the money… AND go overseas holiday!!! Muahahahahaha!!!
Note: I too had those cuties on my pre-order list, but knowing I’ll be lacking funds I canceled them fast. Really thankful for that choice since I’m really broke now….

Dilemma, dilemma…lol, actually, I would get the figurines if I were you. ^_^ (and yeah, you got them already). Also because, their stocks aren’t unlimited, so, buying them faster is always the best thing to do. Whereas, yeah, those electronic-computer stuff, they’ll be cheaper as time passes like you said.
For the AFA…;_;. Save money now now now! Most likely you can at least get some money to buy some goods. ^_^;;.

@Kona: Yeah, my logic was that the figurines were rare, and HDDs become cheaper over time too.
But so do the demands. (e.g. bigger games, videos, pictures)
