I have, against all logic, broken the bank.

*puts on sunglasses*

YEEEEEEAAAAAAAHHH

^ Yes, that was a CSI:Miami reference. I think there’s a screenshot somewhere about 4chan, but I’m not sure if I can find it anymore. lol

Anyway, yes, I’ve bought the Nendoroids, despite any earlier doubts, so I can safely say I’ve emptied my bank, and I’m also $110 (after membership discount courtesy of the big blue neko) poorer now. Yay.

The bank is broken.

This also marks the first time I’m buying any sort of figurine, since till now the figurines in the house all belong to Fariz. I don’t intend to become a full-fledged collecter though; I’ll probably stop once I get the Kagamine twin Figmas. And probably the unreleased VOCALOID CV03 as well (if it turns out to be another moe girl character).

Oh, and thank goodness I came just in time; the last two boxes were just sitting there atop other figurine boxes at La Tendo, before Fariz swiped them and handed them to me. ^.^;

I won’t review these two right now though, since I’m not that free. Assignments piling up, more deadlines to fulfill, yadda yadda.

In any case, I’m really happy with this purchase (or in chiminology, business transaction), so no regrets at all. Maybe I’m starting to get the hang of this figurine thing already. Especially the dreaded “I’m bankrupt” part.

Also, I spotted the SEGA “UFO Catcher” Miku and Rin figurines at the store as well, also selling at $58 each. They appear to cost more than if you simply tried out their UFO Catcher machines, but then again, those machines are based on luck and 1337 skillz. You’d probably save more in the end anyway.

I’ll pass, though, if you don’t mind. XD
