Just yesterday, I said that I will keep raging for 10 days (9 days from today) since I must wait for the laptop that I bid; Acer Aspire 4530 to arrive in Singapore.. Yeah, the price of the laptop on bid at $999 (w/o GST) is the reason behind the sold out and me waiting for the next batch..
So when I went with Fuzzy to Funan IT Mall for our usual “game-hogging” sessions, we stumbled upon a laptop on sale that was worth checking out.. We saw it, inspect it, taste it and decided to buy the laptop which cost $1069 (after GST)..
So I would like to present to you the latest tech-family member, Acer Extensa 4630ZG ( Sounds like Zeta Gundam xD )…

Yup, me and Fuzzy have decided to cancel the bid on the 4530 Acer Aspire and go for this one… Reason is the better specification..

So there you have it.. You can say that Acer Extensa 4630ZG beat the pulp out of Acer Aspire 4530.. Well, I can’t say that Acer is good but hey its value-added yes? ^^;;
Thinking about my old Acer laptop, Stellar inspired me to give my new laptop a new name.. I was thinking of “Miku-CV01″ but that is just generic.. Can you guys give a suggestion on what name I should give “her”?? ( No pervertic names or whatsoever )..
Speaking of Miku, this month I shall await for the arrival of the Wonfest Nendo Miku which I’ve been waiting for so long..
Seriously, the “Nyan Nyan” pose makes Nendo Miku MOE..
Waiting for it for so long almost made me forget about it.. I would like to thank Jon (Wcloudx) for getting one for me.. I’m very grateful to have this rare Hatsune Miku figurine.. =3
Ok then, I shall end my entry for today.. I will post an entry about Miku-CV01 laptop very soon.. For now, I shall install RA3 on it to test out it’s graphic..

I too also named my desktop (Kiseki) and laptop (~Sigel Fate~) and all my HDDs (I got a total of 7 HDD, including main HDD for each system, but partitioned into a total of 13 Drives, so yea I got mass names.)

Well, I guess Miku-CV01 is just fine (sorry I’m sucked at think of a name). Put some Miku’s stickers on the lid and everything is perfect.
BTW, I’ve RA 3 on my laptop and I can only afford on med. graphic, but it’s still good and really fun.
@ Tragic Comedy: Yeah, I kinda like a blank face.. xD But the Wonfest Nendo Miku comes with some facial expression stickers for you to play around with the blank face.. I do want to try them when she arrives..
@ RyoBase: Hmm, Im thinking of sticking to Miku-CV01 for the time being.. I will discuss with my brother to see what better names we can come out with..
I have not tried RA3 on my laptop properly since the laptop is on Vista OS which of course uses more RAM.. Need to change the laptop back to XP.. ^^
The 9300M GS sucks – it’s a rebranded 8400M GS.
But it’s still much better then an Intel GMA though.
Good offer considering the present state of Singaporean tech.
Er.. last I checked, the 9100M was an integrated Nvidia chip, like the 7150M, and 8200M series. >.>
The 9300M GS is certainly far better, but don’t expect too much power out of it. Some light gaming at best, but basic multimedia should be good.
And be warned, the AMD Turions have been known to get rather hot (most still use the 90nm process).
