When I think about the title Anime Festival Asia (AFA), I was thinking it was just an event showcasing just animes and perhaps some gunplas like some of the events were back then.. Well, I was told before the event that there will also be shops selling figurines to those who wants them so much, at a discount.. And maybe a couple of figurines on show..
I was kinda surprised when Toys & Toys was kind enough to showcase a big area to showcase alot of figurines, gunplas and much more.. Some of them are already on the market while there are also some upcoming stuffs such as the Limit Gunz..
These are all from big figure companies like Good Smile Company (GSC), Max Factory, Organic and Art Storm to say the least.. There are also other figure companies which has nice stuffs on display.. I was pretty impressed with the details of some of the figurines but these are just samples, not those that are out in the market versions..

Of all the gunplas displayed on the “Contest” showcase, the GAT-X105E Strike Noir got the “Favourite Award” by Kunio Okawara, Mechanical Desinger for Gundam.. ^^
Looking at Chun Li gives me the creeps..

Well, that sums up what I took (Better quality pics) of the figurines and gunplas showcased during AFA08.. It was a very nice to see upcoming figurines on show; might tempt other people to buy those like Limit Gunz.. I know my brother, Fuzzy did.. xD
I am deciding whether to make a post about the Cosplayers since it has been 3 days since the convention ended.. I am quite slow at this since I am currently have work in the morning till evening.. So I would like to say sorry beforehand if Im a slow poster.. =_=;;

Limit Gunz is tempting indeed.

And I think Malzias was referring to the Exia Model at Bandai, not the Exia Cosplayer.. But both are still the embodiment of awesomeness..
There’s more figures on display than I’ve expected. There were hardly any in the Hong Kong equivalent ACGHK2008 this summer as they are not so popular in general (and it’s more to the general public so the image of lot’s of girls in little clothings will give a bad impression). Well, we’re more into gunpla anyway
