Yes, she is finally here.. This isn’t another fake news like what they did last time.. xD Well Crypton has finally revealed the character for VOCALOID CV03.. The name is Megurine Luka [ 巡音ルカ ].. From what I understand, in [ 巡音 ], [ 巡 ] means “to go around” while [ 音 ] means “sound; note”.. Perhaps the name [ 巡音 ] means “Surround Sound”?
The news recently came out early in the morning (about 11am Japan Time) at Crypton’s Blog.. After that, the Crypton site was officially updated with info of Megurine and her “Character Voice” (CV).. More on that later on..
Anyway, Kei has done everyone proud again by coming up with a good drawing of Megurine.. Her pose looks so serene indeed.. Her facial features on the other hand shows another thing; She looks quite TSUNDERE, seriously.. Ouh, she will be officially out on 30th January..
Now here is the best part.. Megurine’s CV is actually by none other than Yu Asakawa.. Yes, this isn’t a lie either.. She has voiced so many good characters like Sakaki in “Azumanga Daioh”, Rider in “Fate/Stay Night and Itoko Osakabe from “School Rumble”..
Luka is 20 years old, so she’s going to be 3 years older than Miku and 5 years older than the twins. She’s 162 cm tall and 45 kg in weight. Her favorite Genre of Music is Latin Jazz Pop and House Dance Electronica. Her outfit is a mixture of Steampunk + Modern.. I kinda love her shiny golden sleeves and headphones, very detailed indeed.. ^^
Well, after the character release of Megurine (Only just a couple of hours ago), alot of fanmade artworks of her have popped up at Pixiv and Piapro, the best places to find VOCALOID fanart.. Well, I got some great pics from both sites and they look gorgeous.. Take a look and see and I ‘m sure you’ll love it..
And we thought that was just about everything we have seen.. Well, we were wrong.. Looks like someone has already made a genderbender of her.. But the name isn’t revealed yet at the moment..
I and Fuzzy will keep you posted with anything CV03!! Well, lets not forget about Hatsune Miku and the Kagamine Twins too.. xD

VOCALOID is a powerful piece of software, and Megurine Luka’s voice is nothing short of amazing.
When I can find the software, I’ll write about it. She looks like she came out of an RPG, though. Pretty cool.
