As you all know, there are alot of animes to watch during the Winter Anime Season 2009.. I scanned through the list and saw “Maria + Holic”.. Although some say that the anime is actually a Yuri show, I thought I give it a try just to see how “boring” it was.. However, something or someone in the show actually got my attention to watch the whole series instead of just throwing it one side after episode 1..
Here is the plot of the show:
Plot Summary: The story centers on a sophomore named Kanako Miyamae who enrolls in all-girls school because she has a phobia of men and wants to find her destined yuri partner. She meets a captivating freshman named Mariya Shidō who fits her criteria — except her seemingly ideal mate happens to be a cross-dressing sadistic boy.
No, it isn’t about the mini-Yuri scenes that happened in the show.. Well, it is just the first episode and there are already alot of it in the show.. xD
I am more referring to Mariya’s meido, Matsurika Shinouji.. Some people say that she is a TSUNdere but IMO she is just “100% tsun with no dere at all.” (Taken from here) X3
Well, why did I say that? Well, she is devoid of happiness and her words are blunt, seriously.. She doesn’t even give you any love at all..
Really, she really insults Mariya quite harshly when “she” comes out with stupid ideas, or say something bad about Matsurika..
Well, after just watching the first episode, I am gonna watch the rest of the series.. The show is quite funny with a mixture of 3 characters having weird personality; Mariya being a sadistic cross-desser, Nanako who is a homo who have a wild imagination and Matsurika, the most TSUN meido I have ever seen..
I would like to recommend this show for most of you to catch it.. This show will probably makes you laugh, other than just the “Yuri” nature of the show itself.. =3 As a token of appreciation, I would love to show you all some artworks of Matsurika.. She is just lovely.. ^^ Enjoy the pictures..

Hmmm… I was more attuned to the bickering antics of Kanoko & Mariya. Matsurika, however, tops them all with “b****y” attitudes (not that I’ve seen anime series with b****y maids before).
So… calling dibs on Matsurika? (^.^);
