After a week of busy schedule and lazy butt, I’ve finally spend some quality time continuing my post about my trip to Kuala Lumpur.. It has been quite a while for me to travel to KL (about 1 year apart) that there are quite a number of changes to the surroundings and of course the winding roads in the capital city of Peninsula Malaysia..
It was the 2nd day of our trip in KL and we were looking forward to going to some of the best shopping districts in KL, even on the eve of Chinese New Year.. =3 The good thing is that since it was Sunday, there would be slightly lesser vehicles on the winding and once chaotic road.. Well, before we begin our trip, we visited the souvenier shop within the hotel’s compound..
We got to see some cool souveniers such as guns.. Yup, those are guns alrite but its not what you really think.. They are just lighters for smokers to light up their cigarette.. It is range from mini pistol to a real size musket.. No and I am not kidding about the musket.. xD
Well, at least we got to have some Poc- I mean Rocky in the convenience store just beside the souvenier shop..
I didn’t know Rocky was some chocolate-coated sticks.. xD
So first up we went to visit Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, where the famous SOGO KL is located..
We went there like every normal shoppers do and “shop till you drop”.. It was quite nostalgic visiting SOGO after so long that I had to go around the whole shopping centre to see what has changed..
Next up it Campbell Complex, another good shopping centre that is filled with shoes, shoes and mostly shoes.. Well, not all shops opened on that day since its the eve of Chinese New Year… However, there were some of the good shops which we wanted to see and we really got 2 very nice Nike shoes, one for Fuzzy, the other for my elder brother.. xD
After some great shopping at Campbell Complex, we went off to our next shopping destination, kawasan Masjid India, a good shopping haven to those who have visited KL for quite a long time.. xD There we got ourselves some nice Shaved Iced Chocolate Moccha from a mobile stall called “KopieSatu” (pronounced as Kopi Satu)..
Well, it looks like an ordinary Iced Chocolate Moccha but what sets it different from the one I’ve tasted in Singapore is of course the flavour and its taste is slightly sweeter than the Singapore version.. In any case, I got addicted to drinking this nice drink..
This place is known for > 9000 variety of cloths, traditional malay dresses and much more.. There are some famous local stores like Nagoya which my mum loves so much when we visit kawasan Masjid India..
After some further shopping at kawasan Masjid India, it was time to visit our 3rd and final destination of the day, the KLCC and the Petronas Twin Tower.. Yup, thats right, the great Twin Tower itself.. =3
Well, to tell you the truth, it is our first time being there since usually we avoided such busy places during normal days and parking would be a chaos even in KLCC.. Even though it is the eve of Chinese New Year, it didnt stop the non-Chinese people to visit the area to do some photo-taking and some good old shopping, especially Fuzzy here..
Fuzzy being restless at the KLCC ground..
Well, it was not just him doing so..
Enjoy the rest of the shots..
Before my trip, I got a suggestion from my dear friend Kona-chan, who told me to visit a bakery in Isetan called “Sun Moulin Kedai Roti” (“Kedai Roti” loosely means Bakery).. She told me to buy some good Chocolate Cornet from that bakery and I did so, buying 4 at 1 shot..
The chocolate cornet taste so delicious, from the mouth-watering taste of chocolate to the soft bread, it is quite wonderful to eat.. Well, there is a plastic seal that prevents the chocolate from leaking out from the cornet..
After spending some time at KLCC, it was time for us to go, or so I thought it was… As I fell asleep in the car, my parents brought us somewhere that we didn’t know of.. After waking up from the seat of the car, we just arrived in another stop, a hill overlooking KL..
I was shocked and awed by the magnificent view of the capital from where I was standing.. The nice scenery made me took some pictures, especially some panoramic picture of the view I was looking at..
Here is the panoramic shot I took, though not as clear as I expected it to be.. =3
Click the picture to view enlarged version..
Well, since it was getting quite dark, we decided to go back to our hotel to rest, for real.. It was quite an experience to see KL from a hill and I do enjoy doing some shopping in the capital city.. Well, at least back in the hotel I get to eat the remaining Chocolate Cornet..
Chocolate cornet is <3..
Well, thats all I have for our 2nd day of the KL trip.. I hope you all enjoyed the pictures I took during this great shopping trip..
I hope to finish off with the last day of our trip in KL perhaps by the end of this week.. Well, as for now, I am gonna relax and enjoy some nice Sorakake episodes.. xD

Chocolate is <3.
Also, guns! I kind of would buy a nice-looking one, like the Desert Eagle or Raging Bull, but a lighter type? Pffft. Lol @ Rocky.
Id get the sudden urge to yell “AAAAAADRIIIAAAAN!” after munching on those Rockys.^^
lol chocolate cornet… I just saw that in Shaw Building today, just beside mos burger… But didn’t buy it because I spent a lot money on food already… xD My friend say the taste was okay, the bread was plain but the chocolate is <3 Maybe I should go buy it next time… ^^;;
@ Panther: Hmm, there isn’t seem to be any Desert Eagle on sale though.. How about a mini Bernelli Shotgun? =3
@ BlowFish: LOL!!
