Just a few days ago, there was a live show on NicoNicoDouga showcasing about the GSC x Max Live Talkshow.. It was held last Saturday at about 10.20pm (Singapore Time) and lets say that it was quite difficult to enter the live show unlike before because they limited the number of people to watch the live show.. Well, more on that after the skip..

Well, when the show began, the group were just talking about the working life in GSC and Max Factory.. Skipping that part, I will quickly move on to the main topic of the talk show.. About 1 hour later or so, they were going to reveal the prizes and the winners for the GSC x Max Factory Photoshoot Contest..

For the first few minutes or so, they were showing the modifications they did on Nendo Miku.. They gave her a nice twirly twintail hair.. Kawaii~~

Photobucket

So let us begin with the contest, starting with the winner for getting Boss Aki’s Orangu Nendo Miku (With a GSC logo).. This is one of a kind Nendo Miku to have and lets just say the person who have it is one lucky person..

Photobucket

And that lucky person is the owner of picture No. 38 who uses a Canon IXY DIGITAL 910 IS to take this beautiful picture of Miku being comfortable in the hood of someone’s coat..

There are other prizes such as the Ita-PSP which looks nice on the front but if you take a look at the back cover it will be a great turn-off.. -_-;;

Photobucket

Then there is a special Figma Hatsune Miku.. Actually, it is a modified Figma Miku, having her to look like the one from the “Love is War” song by Ryo.. Yes, they made only 10 of this Figma just for the 10 Photoshoot Contest consolation prize winners.. She comes with a megaphone just like in the video too.. xD

Sorry for the blurness..

Next up is the Silver Prize, the Ita Sony CyberShot DSC-T77 Camera… For more info about this prize you can click here..

Photobucket

There are 2 versions of the prizes, the Nendo version and the Figma Version.. For the Nendo version, the prize is awarded to this lovely picture No. 45, taken using a Nikon EasyShare DX7590Zoom camera.. I still cant figure out how he can make/find such a tiny car just nice for Nendo Miku..

Now onto the next prize, the GOLD Prize which is the Ita Ilyama KDU-G1XP Notebook.. Like the Ita-Camera, it comes in 2 versions, one is a Figma, the other a Nendo..

Photobucket

So for the winner for the Nendo version, It goes to picture No. 35 taken with OLYMPUS SP-560UZ camera..

As for the Figma version, the winner for the Gold Prize is pic No. 34 taken using a SANYO Xacti camera..

Last but not least there is the Grand Prize for the Photoshoot Contest.. The prize, an Ita-Foldable Bike, DAHON Vitesse P16 looks totally cool..

Photobucket

It also comes with a wheel disc that has both sides painted with pictures of Nendo and Figma respectively..

Photobucket

Photobucket

I prefer the Figma picture over the Nendo one for this one..

Anyway, there is only one winner for this Grand Prize and it goes to picture No. 19 titled “LIVE!!”.. It is taken using a SONY a700 with a 90mm F2.8 Macro… This picture looks splendid indeed and I must say that the photog sure knows how to add such wonderful effects on it.. Looks amazing..

Photobucket

Others like the Figma Haruhi which comes with a special “tied-hair” version..

Photobucket

And of course there is the much awaited Figma Kagamiku with a \m/ handsign.. A MUST BUY!! xD

    Three things to say.
1, the miku in picture No.19 is holding Yuki Nagato’s gituar.
    2, WOW.
    3, OMG, figma kagamiku!?!?

  • Kazearashi says:

I have to disagree with you on the grand prix winner… I really don’t like the fact that the winner is a Photoshopped piece. I know it’s really nice, well done and all, but, compared to 45 and 34, I don’t feel any/much efforts coming out from the work. Just brushes, textures and some effects? Nah, compared to making the sets that doesn’t event count as a bite… lol

Well anyway, that’s just my opinion, and congrats to whoever the winner which is not me… LOL

  • Matteas says:

The photos are great. And Orange Miku is really lovely. And Kagamiku figma, too.

  • Fariz Asuka says:

@ Zhlink: Yes! Figma Kagamiku will be one of the next upcoming figmas that will be open for reservation soon.. xD

@ Kazearashi: I somewhat agree to your point though.. He uses quite alot of effects for the picture which somehow won him in the photoshoot contest.. But oh well, thats their decision though.. What to do.. >.<

@ Matteas: Orange Miku is totally rare.. The person who got it must be real proud to own her.. xD

  • phossil says:

Wow, the winner’s pictures are really good and amazingly awesome. Im glad to see most of the pics were taken with not so high camera tech.

  • TheFuzzy says:

It’s more of a Photoshop contest rather than a photo contest, imo.

The Miku crawling on the floor was rather creative. :)
