Yes, you heard it right… There will be a Macross gathering which is going to be held tomorrow at Hong Lim Park or also known to most as the Speakers Corner.. There will be singing and perhaps even cosplays during the event.. More info after the jump..
Although this post came out abit late, I am sure some of you will be quite interested in joining us in this event.. The details of the event are as follows:
Title: Macross The Gathering
Date: 22nd February 2009
Time: 10am – 1pm
Location: Hong Lim Park (Speakers Corner) [Normal Day] / Liang Court 1st Floor [When there is rain]
By Bus: 2, 12, 33, 54, 147, 190, 520, 147A, CT28
By Train: North-East Line [NEL] alight @ NE5 Clarke Quay
The event will start with a singing of a Macross theme song during which there will be highlights on the History of the Macross series.. There will also be a discussion of the most memorable scenes from each series. Oh yeah, there would be something to collect during this event too..
Well, in-between those, anyone who wish to sing certain famous Macross songs solo or as a group please email: terence4649 [at] gmail.com.. It will be great for more people to sing some nice Macross songs during the event.. xD Those who wish to cosplay as characters from the Macross series are also welcomed.. ^^
In an event of rain during the show, please head over to Liang Court (River Valley) and gather at the 1st floor. Hopefully, we can find a place to carry on with the event from there..
End of event will be marked with the Macross ED song “Runner”. If time permits, we might even do a NiangNiang Medore(Tokumori ver.)..
