I apologise for blogging this one quite late, I’ve been (and still am) caught up in a bit of work.

Also, LESS screenshots this time. And less wall-of-text-ish. Much much less.

The girls end up at Tsumugi’s (smallest-but-not-that-small) villa for a training camp (during summer vacation) organised by Mio, when she finds a tape recording of the previous light music club playing live during the last school concert and wants to rival them.

Throughout the first two-thirds of the episode, Mio’s all worried since she’s afraid that the club wouldn’t make it in time for the school festival, especially when Yui and Ritsu demonstrate their ability to slack and enjoy the holidays throughout the entire episode.

That changes when she witnesses Yui playing back a guitar solo minutes after hearing the original tape (the same one Mio found). And we’re not talking a simple tune either. Also, consider the fact that she’s still unable to remember any of her chords, and you know there’s something about Yui.

You’ll find the girls in swimsuits this episode; acceptable levels of fanservice, nothing too revealing, though Mio and Tsumugi are the only ones who have “matured”. Heh heh.

Also, maid Mio is WIN. I saw this coming…but not the “MOE MOE KYUN!~” at the end of the sequence. Holy crap. @_@

A friend told me he watched the first two episodes, and felt that the animation feels “forced”. I think I get what he’s saying; I felt that the smooth animation isn’t constant, especially when I watched the ED for the first time (ESPECIALLY the first scene, where Mio’s singing the first 2 verses).

Next episode: They find an old member of the light music club. Yes I read wikipedia. No I haven’t touched the manga. 4koma. Whatever. XD
