I have finally spent some of my time doing a review of my 1/8 Scale Hatsune Miku figurine by Good Smile Company (GSC). It has been quite a long time since I received her (first shipment) and I got held up by so many things, preventing me from doing any review of her.. Well, without further ado, let us begin with the review..

The GSC Hatsune Miku was first released on the September 2008 but due to overwhelming response, it got a re-release for October.. It was almost a scary experience for me because the pre-order for her was closed on the same week when it opened..

To do the review of her, I went to LaSalle School of The Arts located at Bugis, Singapore because I heard it is one of the good places to do a photoshoot, so I was thinking, “I can try making a unique review for my Hatsune Miku”..

Well, when I first got my 1/8 scale Hatsune Miku, I was quite impressed with the amount of details GSC has put on her, from the skirt to the sleeves of her outfit.. Although there seem to be a slight irregularities in some of the details, it is quite hard to spot from afar so I’m ok with that..

I also love the shiny texture of her outfit, it really brings out the uniqueness of Hatsune Miku.. Furthermore, it provides such a good reflection on her surroundings like what you see in some of the pictures I took.. I got her at about SGD$85 when she was first released last year and I didn’t regret getting her since then.. I will be more happy if I get a display cabinet to display her too if I have enough cash..

I would like to present the rest of the pictures I took at the art school.. I hope you all enjoy taking a look at them.. ^^
