As the days draw closer to the opening day of Hobby Complex (6th May ’09), Akiba Hobby decided to release some wonderful pictures of Garage Kits figures taken at the Hobby Complex GK01 held at Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center this March (1st March ’09).. Some of them are pretty new from some well known groups making Garage Kits like T’s System and Vispo..
Some of these figurines will be displayed again for the main Hobby Complex event held at the Tokyo Big Sight on 6th May ’09.. Well, without further ado, I would like to present to you the pictures of the figurines.. Enjoy~

Reimu Hakurei from Touhou series by キツテフ
This is by far the best looking GK figurine for the event, Taiga in swimsuit outfit, made by House of Crane (鶴の館)..
Close-up shot of her…

Kirino Chiba from the Bamboo Blade series; Made by Little pink summer/サイコロキャラメル
As usual, the Vocaloids were not left behind.. There is Hatsune Miku..
And of course, Megurine Luka.. ^^

Marisa Kirisame from the Touhou series; Made by T’s System

Taiga from Toradora series; Made by 83℃
You can see more pictures at Akiba Hobby’s site here.. I hope to see more wonderful Garage Kits, as well as other figurines during the upcoming Hobby Complex.. It will be great to see what wonderful surprises the figure companies have in store for us in 2 days time.. xD

The Touhou figures are getting better and better recently…but the vocaloid ones seem to be getting abit stale in poses.
Taiga is cute!
tragic comedy’s last blog post..Project Announcement: Little Busters!
I agree about the Touhou figurines getting better while the Vocaloid ones becoming worst.. I hope I get to see better ones for today’s Hobby Complex.. =3
And yes, Taiga is cute~
I’m of course interested in the Tora Dora, TouHou, and VOCALOID stuff…but I’m not blown away by any of the selections. Is it just me or does the paint seem a bit sloppy?
I like the Taiga…but she retails for about 7000 yen…that’s way too much for that. I’d do 5000 but not 7000…
