After a few more weeks of patience, Sega has again released more information about the game, including two additional characters who will be playable in the game and also 3 new updated outfits of Hatsune Miku for the game itself.. First up is the latest addition of characters in the game, MEIKO and KAITO.. It is quite a nice thing to add in the 2 characters into the game as they are part of the Vocaloid family..
Most people already expected them to appear in the game, but some grew slightly unhappy that Sega didnt announce them in the game as early as possible since they did so for Yowane Haku and Akita Neru many weeks ago.. Anyway, I do like their new look, it seems more human-like than the original but I still find their design quite plain… Hope they do a slight improvement on them..
Next up we have the 3 new outfits for Hatsune Miku, the “Cheerleader” outfit, the “Bride” outfit and last but ot least, the “Pyjamas” outfit..
First up is the “Bride” outfit… It looks very lovely and quite beautiful on Hatsune Miku.. The design for the game is a huge improvement than the original design by “ｙｚｋ”.. There is a reason for this; Since Hatsune Miku always love to dance around, they need to do an updated design that almost matches the original design yet allowing Miku to move freely while wearing it (You know how graphic goes in dance games)..

Next up is the “Pyjamas” outfit.. Although it is quite good that they made that particular version, I find the in-game design abit weird.. Maybe the design caters for those otakus (Well, who cares.. Still have other epic costumes Miku has)..I still prefer if they do the same as the original one by “緋紗川”..

Last but not least we have the “Cheerleader” outfit.. This is by far the most hip yet simple outfit I’ve seen on Miku.. I do like how Piapro ppl design it, it looks very similar to the original design.. The only thing different is the top part of the skirt which has a very nice colour on it.. Another thing to take note is that Piapro added their name onto the outfit on Miku’s shirt.. Like I said, simple yet hip.. XD

If you think that there is only 3 new outfits for Miku, think again.. Sega has come up with a design for Hatsune Miku called “P-スタイル” or “P-Style” in English.. They come in two colours, White…
and Black…
The name and design of it looks like its from the Sony PSP… I find this design very interesting though I quite expect Sega to do this sort of trick.. XD I still dunno where does the green orb comes from though.. Well, if I get to find out about it I will let you know.. ^^

I think the green circles on the “P-Style” outfit are the power lights on either side of PSP.
Ah, I see.. Initially, I thought the green orbs were from the Sony Ericsson logo lol.. Other than that, I still love the overall design.. XD
And to extrapolate further…
Sony Ericsson denied collaboration on a PSP phone, and with this new image we can assume there is some truth in the rumour? Sony has a habit of denying everything, and then it turns out to be true.
It reminds me of HAL (and Vocaloid is software too), there must be a spin off green version legitimized somewhere.
Although these are Anime and games do you think there is a market for fancy dress costumes of these characters for real people ? Just reading your blog I can see that you are pretty passionate about Hatsune Miku and maybe other people would like to dress up as their favorite characters. I imagine this will happen in the near future as the transformers costumes are now available.
