Yes, it is one of those dreadful things one can think off almost everyday after you graduate from Polytechnic or Junior College (JC).. Yes, it is called National Service where able bodied men must join (Compulsory) to serve for 2 freaking long and wasteful years.. Well the thing is, I am going to be one of those people.. =3
Although I am quite sad that there is only 4 more days till I get enlisted into the Basic Military Training (BMT), I am quite happy to go into NS in the June intake instead of the Sept/Oct intake.. Why you may ask? Well, its pretty simple actually..
First of all, when I finished my BMT, it will just nice before Anime Festival Asia 09 (AFA’09 – Singapore) and Comic Fiesta 09 (CF’09 – Malaysia).. I hope by then I wont be too busy with NS life that I cannot attend these 2 big events.. ^^ Well, there is still quite a long time till these events even begin so lets hope for the best..
Next is quite short and simple – Go in early and end early.. =3 Since NS is usually 2 years (Some gets 1 yr 10months), I would prefer to ORD from an earlier intake than the one later..
So what will happen to the blog and most stuff I have while Im doing my BMT? Well, for this blog, I’ll continue to let it run with the help of Fuzzy now.. he will still post about anything random and of course doing the K-ON! episodics like he already did since first episode..
As for me, when I do come back, I’ll post some Vocaloid news and will also do an episodic on one of the upcoming animes in the new season.. I was thinking of getting a guest writer for our blog to keep it up and running, maybe even entertaining.. Well, I’ll leave that decision to Fuzzy till maybe after my BMT..
Last but not least is my stuff, such as figurines and my Mikunator (Sony a300).. For my figurines, I will give them a good clean and store them in a good place where there wont be alot of heat and humidity.. As for my Mikunator, I’ll be lending it to some of my friends for the first 2 weeks because they need it for some photoshoot.. Apart from that, I’ll need to clean my dSLR too.. XD
Well, I shall now enjoy the rest of my freedom with peace and quiet (and perhaps some short gaming).. I’ll see to it that the blog would not falter when Im not around for the time being.. I will be posting a few more posts before I’ll leave for my first day of BMT…

On the bright side, army was the place that set me upon the spiraling decent into…… i mean the glorious path to anime and figurine collecting so it may not be as bad as you might think XD
Haha, I hope I can get to meet a few of them in camp.. Its might be interesting to talk about animes once in awhile.. XD

Nope, for NS, it will take about 2 years to complete.. At the beginning of it there is a 3 months course (Varies with ppl having medical condition) called Basic Military Training (BMT)..
Well, I prefer to go in, do whatever it take + slim down and get out of there.. XD

U think only BMT = training period? Wait you kenna extra during your trainee period after your BMT den u know. And trainee period is right after BMT hor for some ppl sometimes. lolol
