Another week has gone by and there is another event that is being held in Singapore.. This time however, the event is held at the Suntec Convention Centre in to coincide with the World Cyber Games which made a comeback after going silent from any news coverage since last years competition.. Well, just like the previous event, there is also a CosCon held during the event yesterday (4th July)..
For a start, let us begin with the main event itself, the WCG Asia 2009 and also some booths which attracted my attention.. Firstly, let us talk about the Garena booth that was located quite near to the main stage area..
It was quite a surprise to see Garena promoting themselves in TGX for the first time, maybe even first for any events.. Garena is quite well known to be an online gaming platform (Something like Hamachi but with better interface)… They are there to promote one of their games, “Blackshot” which seriously reminds me of CounterStrike..
Another surprise was Alienware, who came down and promote their famous gaming laptops.. They placed games like “Need For Speed Undercover” in high quality using just their laptops and you can just see people playing happily without due care of anyone… XD
Last but not least, just beside the Alienware booth, there is the Samsung booth.. Just like the previous event, they were doing their Guitar Hero tournament there where each countries battle each other to see which one is the best Guitar Hero freak for WCG Asia 2009.. ^^
Well, thats the end of my post about the main event.. From here onwards, I would like to show you some of my cosplay pics I took during the event itself.. Some of the outfits the cosplayers were wearing are really very nice.. ^^

If you miss the cosplays for TGX 09 don’t fret… You can still wait for next week’s event which is CosFest 2009!! Do go for that event, you wont regret it.. =D

I like how your pictures come out, Fariz. I’m glad that no highlights have been overblown, and no shadows have been too dark. Overall, your pictures are very, very clear.
Just asking, since I’m very curious: what lens did you used for the cosplay shots? (I’m very curious, indeed…)
