Just recently Cosfest was held in the D’Marquee tent at Downtown East. Unlike The Games Xpo (which was held the week before) Cosfest is a cosplay convention/event in its entirety, so you can guarantee there’ll be lots more you can see there.

As expected, I got the opportunity to see quite a bit more cosplay compared to recent conventions, and a lot of them were very good indeed. ^.^

Well, not all of them though. ^.^;

Blurmage was also kind enough to lend me his 50mm lens. Boy, did it work better in the dimly-lit tent than my own lenses. You can tell by looking at some of the photos here… They are sharper than the rest. -_-




Decade as Kiva. Double cosplay?

There were booths in the tent selling lots of merchandise too, just like last year’s Cosfest. Pity I didn’t buy anything. I did get Fuzzy to buy some for me on the second day (which he will post soon).

Of course, not all the cosplay was in the tent. There were good ones posing for photos outside D’Marquee too.

The event this year was as successful as Cosfest ‘08, and I look forward to next year’s Cosfest too. Who knows what next year might bring… Stay tuned for Fuzzy’s post on the second day. ^.^
