Now, after countless days, I finally managed to find a time to do a review on an anime song… Fuzzy already did a music review on one of his favourite show, Spice and Wolf II which is quite a nice show IMO.. Anyway, for this particular song, I simply like it on first sight (Well, if you count the animation of the OP/ED of an anime) and also when I got to listen to it as well.. Both of this criteria will tell whether the full version deserved to be heard and reviewed.. XD
So, this song titled “Modern Strange Cowboy” by GRANRODEO, is certainly one of the most epicly GAR (for the current anime season) I’ve ever heard.. All the adrenaline going through your body when you listen to this song is surely a good thing I guess.. Well, the song starts off with the verse “Get Destroyed” followed by guitars blasting through crazily into your ears is sure exhilarating (for the first few time that is.. XD )..
Well, before I continue on, let us watch this epic OP (filled with Garness, Moeness and fanservice)..

The animation for this OP reminds me slightly of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (TTGL) but that show is still Epic win since then.. About the animation, the animations are well-placed, some coinciding well with the song.. I also like the way they introduced the characters in the OP, short and sweet (Apart from the Pretty Girl Squad, good fanservice is good.. o.O ) I still wonder why they don’t put Disc, the cyborg loli~ (Well, considering she is 100yrs old to begin with..).. =3

That’s probably because it’s breaks some of the “rules” most anime follow…though I actually feel my IQ slipping away watching the show.
Disc is awesome though.

I believe this is the type of anime where you need to watch frame by frame…to catch all the puns and goofs. (And panties shots!)
