Though it hasn’t exactly arrived at our doorstep yet, I decided to take the liberty of viewing it in advance just to quench my curiosity.

I didn’t expect to be disappointed, though.

I think I’ll let the screenshots speak for themselves this time round. Have a look-see:

From this shot I can make an accurate guess about the plot.

BEGIN THE EYERAPE

I see only shapes here.

In case you haven’t noticed, the quality does seem to be a bit off, especially on the animated elements (people, bullets, clouds etc), though the closeups are pretty good. Either that or my expectations are too high (which I doubt is the case here). The landscapes are pretty much amazing though, especially in the alternate “world” (if you can call it that).

Here’s the PV itself, uploaded by pKjd. Thanks mate!

Also, from this PV alone, I can easily guess the plot of the upcoming anime (slated to release in Spring 2010), so if I’m right, it should only need about 13 episodes (unless there are more characters I’m not aware about). I mean, there’s only one protagonist and one antagonist. I doubt you’ll need 25 episodes to cover that.

Both points aside, I’m still looking forward to the project, since BRS is still one of my favourite characters. I’ll give Ordet a thumbs up if they manage to fit in more characters into the anime, and also if they’ll put more effort on the final quality.

*prays*

We’ll properly review the DVD itself (we didn’t order the Bluray since we don’t exactly have a player) when it arrives, so wait till then! ^.^

EDIT: Replaced embedded video with a HD version, subbed by Moetron-Subs. Enjoy!
