The last post wasn’t a real announcement, so I’ll just post this bit to make it clear to you (and to post my thoughts).

So yeah, Miku’s in AFA. I’ve already gotten over my excitement, so I’ll skip the raving and get to the juicy bits.

Just so we’re clear though, AFA is an anime convention held locally in Singapore. I covered the first conference already, and we covered last year’s outcome.

Miku was a surprise addition to Anisong, though how exactly the concert for her section will be set up is another good question. Will we get a simple video ala Animelo Summer Live? Or will they bring over the transparent hologram projection screens from Miku Fes’09?

I wish someone bothered to ask. Oh well. It’s already been confirmed that the Miku performance will be on a video screen, Animelo-style. Thanks Xak! Here’s how the Animelo one went:

Also, turns out the Anisong concerts will be held in an entire hall during AFA, a big difference from last year’s. Large raving crowds? You bet.

Due to the lack of time i have, I’m afraid I’ll have to cut this post short. If you’re looking for additional details at these websites, as well as at the official website.

I’ll probably be getting the $108 concert ticket (as will FarizAsuka), since there is no way we’re gonna take standing in the “public viewing area” while Miku sings “Koisuru VOC@LOID”. I can take listening to May’n and Fukuyama from the sidelines, though, no biggie.

Yeah, we’re not taking media passes into account, since bloggers who apply will have to undergo what they call “screening”. And no, I have no idea how guest bloggers fit into the picture, since asking for 4 passes for just one blog seems just a tad too much.

I’ll try though.
