There’ll be an Xbox 360 event held over at VivoCity from the 23rd to the 25th of October to showcase the latest games and let the public have a go at fresh new never-before-seen games etc etc etc.
Obviously me and FarizAsuka will be going down since we’re too poor to buy any we haven’t exactly been experiencing the latest games since GCA ‘09.
The games featured there will include (but isn’t exclusive to):

- Borderlands
- DJ Hero
- Dragon Age: Origins
- Divinity 2
- FIFA 10
- Forza Motorsport 3
- James Cameron’s Avatar: The Game
- Lips Number One Hits
- Magnacarta 2
- NBA 2K10
- NBA LIVE 10
- Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising
- Risen
- Rogue Warrior
- The Saboteur
- Tekken 6
- WET
There’s also mention of Left 4 Dead 2 on their Facebook page, but since the release date is still in November, expect to see just a trailer or two.
Borderlands and Operation Flashpoint looks relevant to my interests, and Dragon Age: Origins gets mentioned occasionally while I surf about, so I’ll probably take a gander at the game. Or maybe I’ll wander off and play something else too. XD
You can also attend a session held by Microsoft if you want to satisfy your curiosity and shoot questions their way regarding Twitter and Facebook on Xbox Live, as well as the Xbox Live Avatar Market Place. There’ll also be a lucky draw to win a “Legendary set” (I’m not really sure what that means). You’ll have to be a GameAxis forum member to register one of the limited seats, so act fast!

EDIT: Almost forgot to mention, there will be challenges held at the event on Saturday and Sunday, so if you want to have a chance to win VivoCity shopping vouchers and HD LCD TV sets, go for it! You’ll have to register the day before the challenge, though. Check out the main page for details.
