6 more days to the grand Anime Festival Asia 09 (AFA’09) and I am getting more impatient to catch Hatsune Miku concert.. Well, to commemorate that, I have here another music video from the Vocaloid gang, this time it is by Gumi or for some, she is called “Megpoid”. The song is titled “Eraser” and it is made by “ep0d” and illustration is by “natsu”..

Megpoid is voiced by Megumi Nakajima. For those who still don’t know who is she, she is the seiyuu for Ranka Lee from Macross Frontier.. ^^ Anyway, I very much like this song because of its beautiful artwork and also the melody of the music itself, very nice to listen to.. As usual, let me post up the video before we carry on with the review~

“Eraser” – Megpoid:

Now about the music itself, it has a very happy and soothing tune, very much like some anime opening song if you look it that way.. Furthermore, I find the lyrics very catchy and the you will still like the song even after playing it so many times..

Now regarding the artwork, I find them very beautiful.. The illustrations by “natsu” are simple yet meaningful.. The artwork on Megpoid is very detailed too, even the colouring itself looks perfect indeed.. Thats how well “natsu” did for his other Vocaloid projects like “Dependence Intention” and 「牡丹」.. Both are also wonderful songs made by their respective producers..

Other than that, I also like how the group uses the “Visualisation” mode as part of the animation itself which makes the whole thing special in some way.. The last time I saw one was when I was listening to “Flowertone” (a very very old song sung by Hatsune Miku)..

Thats the end of this post though I might admit its quiet a short one.. Well, I am quite excited that AFA is around the corner and I hope to see everyone who is attending the event located at the Suntec Convention Centre, Singapore.. See you there~
