Only less than a week away! \o/

I’ll be honest with you; I’m excited. I can’t wait for this weekend.

Yes, there was an AFA last year, but it wasn’t as big as this year’s will be. If I recall correctly, last year’s AFA felt a bit lacking; while there were booths, there just didn’t seem to be enough. I remember getting bored to bits by the afternoon of the second day, to the point that I went home early instead of staying around for the concert.

Good thing they’re pulling all the stops this year; there’ll be lots more to see and buy, not to mention all the cosplayers who’ll be there. As I type this, most of them are probably rushing to complete their costumes on time, so do cheer them on. Gabarre~

Also, the Moe Moe Kyun~ maid cafe. I kind of want to go, but I probably won’t since I’m guessing that I can’t actually eat the food there (hint: halal?). The maids all look cute, though I keep getting told that Miyake’s the best or something like that.

Also, lol at their stereotype of an otaku. To be frank though, it’s not too far off. >_>

And then there’s Miku in Anisong. I won’t go through the fandom screaming again, but I would like to say that this year is probably the best time for me to attend a concert, since I’ll be heading into National Service next year, and seeing how Fariz is almost missing the first day, there’s the chance I’ll never get to go next year.

So, to all the guys behind Anisong, sincerely, thank you. I’ll take back my gratefulness if you screw up the management, though. >=D

Of course, with all the good, there’s always the bad, so let’s begin with…

The Kowtow Man

I’m sure a lot of people don’t feel like mentioning this, but sometimes I like to dig up the dirty past just to learn from the mistakes of others.

If you’re not familiar with this incident, I suggest you start reading up on it here. That post will probably give you an insight on what happened during last year’s AFA. I somehow managed to miss it, though. =(

Nevertheless, I’m thankful May’n didn’t shun our country or something, even going so far as to return for an encore performance. But will another ”kowtow man” emerge? I certainly hope not.

Well, I guess that’s that then. I’m also hoping to meet lots of people there, so if you see me (or the other 3 chaps blogging here), do say hi! If you see a chap walking around with a Rin figma in his pocket (if everything goes well that is), that’s probably me. :3
