Gametrailer has finally released the official trailer of the sequel to Sega’s PSP rhythm game Project DIVA, titled “Hatsune Miku Project DIVA 2nd“.. The game will be released on July 29th 2010; Pre-orders for the game are still open at Play-Asia so if you still wish to get the game do so..

This recent trailer is considered as an updated trailer since there was an earlier version posted only at NicoVideo by SEGA. Before I talk about that, do take a look at the video itself.. Enjoy~
Hatsune Miku Project DIVA 2nd Trailer (NicoNico ver.):
So after watching both trailers, you would notice quite alot of difference between one another. Firstly, in the gameplay part of the trailer (NicoNico ver), the arrow followed the style taken from the 4 “Shapes” buttons used in the first game.. Next is the “Dragging Long Note” where the “Stretch” mark is now “coloured” in the updated trailer acting as an indicator..
Apart from that, there is an addition of the gameplay scene from the song “PoPiPo”, a song I like cause of its catchy chorus.. XD The other addition is the showcase on creating your own Project DIVA PV; now allowing you to make the character you pick to actually to move instead of just making him/her animating the movement on one position shown in the updated trailer…
I’ll keep posting more updates regarding Project DIVA so keep checking on KK once in awhile~

I saw the direction control also. so now players has to use both hands.
Wow, I am immensely amazed at the speed you have taken to upload this piece of news- less than 10 hours after the info appears on Piapro, Project Diva website. Kudos! =D
By the way, another thing to note is that the place where remarks for the notes hit (E.g. “COOL”, “FINE”, “SAFE”) has been changed from the bottom-right to next to the notes themselves, like in Project Diva Arcade. Hope this piece of info helps. =)
