I headed down to Plaza Singapura last weekend to gander at the cosplayers.
When I got there (late), the event was already in full swing.
I met up with TP, Feidamu, Kazearashi, malzias, yumeno, Hexlord and the rest of The Banzai! Effect team. TP was kind enough to lend me his DSLR to snap some photos, so there won’t be any iPhone bokehs in this post.

While I didn’t give the J-Rock performances much attention, they didn’t sound bad at all. A semi-large crowd formed in front of the stage (not all of them were photographers, mind you), and if the performances could drag the attendees away from the cosplayers, they must be doing pretty well.
I didn’t pay any attention to the rest of the stage events, though. I did hear a cover of Fuwa Fuwa Time by a couple of K-ON! cosplayers, and admittedly it almost made my ears bleed.

Fariz was at the event too, but he went roaming away from the event venue to do his own private photoshoots, leaving his poor little brother alone. =(

Overall, the event turned out pretty well, mainly because there was ample space for the cosplayers to roam around. Even the photos here were taken at and around the event venue.
Nature threatened to drench everyone with a slight drizzle, but fortunately, it didn’t rain in the end. I’m sure the more daring photographers might have experimented with the droplets of water. =3

Credit goes to Feidamu for this one; I’m not very good with posing other people. >_>

Note that not all of the shots in this post are mine; TP took most of the shots. You can check out his Flickr photo set. Protip: if my name isn’t in the description, it isn’t my shot.
It was a great event, and it was great meeting everyone again. I personally think it turned out better than STARFEST. I still have a long way to go in my photography skills though; my photos are still too blurry. >_<
You can check out more coverage by The Banzai! Effect (and nutcase’s Evangelion photoshoot), and Kazearashi.
Also, if you feel that any of these shots shouldn’t be in the post, do speak up.

I was there for like 10 mins… meeting up with people before going for karaoke at Cash Studios.. which was way more LEGENDARY than Streetfest.
Wai you never say hai to me?! Wad is dis? Why you do dis?
Ah, I wanted to meet you face-to-face for the first time! I knew that you would be there… X(
Haha, were you there too? For all we know, we could’ve passed by each other without knowing. ^_^;
Ermm… not really. I could not find the time to step out of the house. So, I was regretting that I did not go on KK that other day. I think that if one day you were walking by when you hear a secondary school boy saying ‘Kyouran Kyodai’ softly then you know it is me. ^^ How’s that? At least it would be easier for you to know who I am.
That sounds almost stalkerish… oAo
I don’t know. I am only in secondary school, so I cannot tell it is stalkerish or not. However, I have this habit of saying KK often (don’t know why), so it is also good to go find Fariz and TheFuzzy with this habit. I think I’ve seen Fariz’s photo with a cosplay member before…
Update for PD2: The website has been set up, though incomplete. Also, the development website has also 3 more songs to be revealed: ‘Innocence’, ‘Promise’ and ‘VOiCE’. Please go check it out! =) Thanks. ^.^
Thanks for the heads up! We do know about them though; we’re just waiting for NND to get out of economic mode so we can re-upload to Youtube. =)
You’re welcome! =D Also, what is economic mode? I also want to know how do you get videos from NND and later re-upload to Youtube. Can you teach me, please? =3
The same thing happens to me. Go out for festivals and meet ups but hardly recognize the people. Must be a better way tough. Lol.
All the people in this look really ugly and fat,
this has got to be the most horrible cosplay that I have ever seen.
Pics or GTFO
Wut? No iPhone bokeh?
THIS IS MADNESS
