This one came in a couple of days after I got out of camp, so I was pleasantly surprised to see it.
While the game trailer at first seems like it’s for a high-budget animated film, the character models in some of the later scenes give it away, if you look closely enough. Nonetheless though, it’s pretty epic as a whole.
The trailer starts off in the period when Kerrigan was left behind in an impossible battle against the Zerg. Those who played the campaign in the first game will definitely remember this; hell, it’s the most distinct memory I have of the first game. Who can forget Infested Kerrigan, AKA the Queen of Blades?
The game itself is set to launch globally this Tuesday (27 March 2010). For those of you that are pre-ordering the game, IAHGames will be organizing a launch event at Funan DigitaLife Mall. If you want to get your copy signed by one of the Blizzard devs, here’s your chance!
As for me, I didn’t pre-order the game. I’ve already tried it at Licence2Play, and I’m of the opinion that it’s a little too “hard-core” for my taste. Which is just another way of saying I’m just plain terrible at it. >_>
Are you getting the game?
