Yamaha’s official twitter recently announced that a new Vocaloid (not VY1) would be revealed at the Sanrio booth held at Comiket 78. According to this tweet by Tomohide Ogata (AHS) and Hatsune MikuMiku blog, it appears to be from AH-Software.
It is none other than “Rio“ (above), originally a ｢Hello Kitty to Issho!｣ kittyler illustrated by Hatsune Miku character designer KEI.
AH-Software is currently developing her voicebank and it should be ready in the near future. Rio also appears in the PSP game, ｢Hello Kitty to Issho! Block Crash 123!!｣.

for some reason she looks like lily(the vocaloid, yet has a figure) my friend is playing this, don’t if it fun.

For some reason, why a Hello Kitty Vocaloid?
I think that she isn’t a real vocaloid, but she has like a voice bank for the game. Like, she’s one of the characters of the games, and she sings.
VERY COOL – A HELLO KITTY VOCALOID! but the vocaloid creators have gotten kind of too far. ( not like I don’t want them to, but.. ) for hello kitty lovers, they probably want to promote vocaloid for the hello kitty lovers. BRS AND MIKU ARE STILL MY FAVORITE – NOTHING WILL CHANGE THAT!
