Finally, one of the many songs for the Fall Anime Season to come out.. It has been a few weeks since the show Gundam 00 S2 was aired and I took a liking to the song on the very first episode.. Although this may sound generic, alot of people do find this song very nice, apart from their video.. More on that later on..

Earlier on, I posted about the World Cyber Games Singapore 08 held at the Suntec Convention Hall which I went yesterday. However, the reason for me being there isn’t because of just the games and the WCG tournament..

I was there to catch the CosCon event which was only held yesterday.. So I grabbed this opportunity to go there, even on Singapore’s National Day Parade and also Team Blue’s console session..

So the event starts off at the main stage area(I was playing the game Too+Human when it started), the host introduces the panel of judges and also the 24 competitors tht entered the cosplay contest..

Although I was kind of late in covering the beginning of the contest, I managed to take some shots of the last few contestants being interviewed by the host.. We got Predator..

Then we have the Green Ranger from Power Rangers..

Well, here are the 24 contestants on stage.. Left side..

After the 24 contestants are announced, voting was carried out to find the TOP 9(The 10th contestant went missing so not counted) of the cosplay competition..

While votes are being made, the event shifted to singing.. There were quite a few number of Japanese songs being sung.. The ones I like were the song “Daybreak’s Bell” from the 1st OP of Gundam00..

The other was “Seikan Hikou” sung by our very own Ranka Lee.. ^^

Her singing was alright but the plus point was that she did some of the same dance moves as the real Ranka in Macross Frontier..

After the singing event, it was time for the D-Grayman group to do Hare hare Yukai.. They were supposed to do something better using the song “Gekidou”.. However, the disc with the music in it went missing so they had no choice but to go for Hare Hare Yukai dance..

Well, at least there is the Haruhi cosplayer who cosplayed as Lenalee during CosCon.. XD

So after the dance, it was back to the cosplay competition.. After the TOP 9 was announced before the Hare Hare Yukai dance, it was time to announce the winners of the competition..

3rd place goes to Haruhi (or what the host referred to as Naruhi??)..

2nd place goes to.. Darn, I need help in identifying this character..

The 1st place was given to the Link cosplayer.. She(Csoplayer) looks cool with the shield and sword.. ^^

Now from here onwards are some of the pictures I took of the cosplayers during and after the CosCon event.. I would like to say sorry for some of the blurred pictures.. My camera wasn’t good at taking shots under dim lighting..

There would be another Natsu Matsuri event at VivoCity but I need to check online to confirm the date.. There will be another cosplay event there but as I said it, need further checking…

Well, it has been a while since the last episode of Gundam 00 season 1 a few months ago.. We have seen the death of Lockon Stratos, the destruction of Exia and Kyrios Gundam and also an emotional goodbye to Emo Tieria..

Now, after waiting for a few months, Sunrise has finally announced the Season 2 of the show on their website.. They have also released pictures of the older 4 Meisters that were in season 1 of Gundam 00 and their new respective gundams..

Setsuna looking more matured.. Or is he?? Well, we do not know till the anime comes out this October..

One thing I know is that their purpose still remains the same; to “extermination of war through military prowess”…

The story however is of course different than in Season 1.. Here is the plot:

The Second Season is now the Federation vs. Anti-Federation.

The story follows the confrontation between the independent security enforcement organization within the Federation called “Arrows” which suppresses the Anti-Federation elements.

Well, this isn’t a surprise actually judging by the last episode of Gundam 00 Season 1.. I wonder what mobile suits/armours the Anti-Federation are going to use to fight those “Knight” Gundams..

Anyway let us get to see the 4 Meisters, some new, some old..

Let us start with Setsuna F. Seiei.. Well, hes grown to become a more mature person, even taking a leadership role of the Meister after the death of Lockon in Season 1..

Wow, would you believe that Lockon Stratos is revived or somewhat cloned after that fiery explosion in Season 1??

Well, apparently both of them are wrong.. This is actually Lockon’s brother, Lyle Dylandy (And I thought Lockon was Dylandy himself.).. Lyle took over his brother’s role as a sniper, but is still a newbie within the Meister group…

Next up will be the new emotional Allelujah.. Apparently after losing his other personality/friend Hallelujah in the last episode of Gundam 00 season 1 and finding out that the Super Soldier Girl is actually Soma, he has become an introvert person..

Last but not least we have Tieria Erde.. He has finally dropped Veda as a HEAD figure and is trying to develop himself as an individual rather then a slave in the Celestial Beings workings…

Well after knowing the characters, let us look at their new gundams..

Let us begin with Setsuna’s new gundam, the GN-0000 00 Gundam.. Notice the 2 GN drivers, one at each side of the shoulders..

Next will be Lyle Dylandy new gundam, Keldim Gundam.. Now there is only one shield-on-shoulder instead of Lockon’s Dynames Gundam which had 2.. Maybe this is made to make Keldim more agile than Dynames..

No on to Allelujah’s gundam, Arios Gundam.. Well, nothing very distinct here other than just a nicer-looking design of the gundam.. Maybe the gundam will look even better in plane mode??

Last but not least we have Tieria’s gundam, Selavii Gundam.. BIGGER than ever.. Firepower from this baby still unknown..

But you have guessed that the new gundams’ circular orb-thingy on their chest is no longer visible..

I believe that the Season 2 will be better than Season 1 since there is a base storyline and that everyone now has their own mobile suits.. It will be a pretty EPIC battle.. I’m sure it would not be a disappointment… ^^

Well, it has been a long time since I have a good rest.. So for now, enjoy looking at the pictures in the links.. ^^

Well, the CosFest (Cosplay Festival) is here again, this time in its 7 year.. The location of the event has never change since it first started; Pasir Ris Downtown East..

Lets start off with the CosFest Graffiti Wall located near the entrance of the big tent that houses the stalls; doujins and more..

The tent also houses the stage for the CosFest competition.. Though fot the 1st day its more for the Anime Singing Competition and the Anime Dubbing contest..

Among the rows of stalls, one particular stall intrigue me.. It’s the “… Paradise” shop (Sorry the dakimakuras blocked the first half of the stall’s name..).. Well, what intrigues me??

Its simple.. Its the dakimakuras.. Panther and CI loved to see those.. Louise dakimakura anyone?? ^^

There are also Shana and Hiiragi dakimakuras for those Shana or Lucky Star fans…

Other than just the dakimakuras and normal fan items, there was a special booth specially located almost at the centre to show some of the cosplay costumes..

I particularly find the Haruhi cosplay costume interesting.. Though I cant imagine alot of people who can fit into it..

For the start of here all the way down is the pictures of some of the cosplayers I took when I was there.. Sorry if the picture appeared blur or not focus since it is due to poor indoor lighting..

Now this is one of the best cosplay which is very nice, the KOS-MOS cosplayer..

She looks totally hawt plus her costume fits the person perfectly..

But after that, someone else took that spot.. It was Gundam Exia cosplayer.. This one totally rocks!!

Well, it is hard for ppl to find a “1/20 scale” of Gundam Exia, let alone a live one.. Even the eyes of the gundam is glowing blue..

However, his appearence made KOS-MOS pretty angry..

Even through negotiations, nothing came through so Exia was forced to battle her..




In the end, gundam Exia won the battle, though the GN Drive’s energy ran out a while after the battle ended..

Even the cosplayer wearing it is sweating like crazy even by wearing the whole suit for only a couple of minutes..

So at the end of the day, I find myself being satisfied since day 1 of CosFest isn’t a total FAIL like some people expect it to be..

Anyway, other than just taking shots of cosplay, I’ve managed to purchase an OST+Doujin manga from Collateral Damage (CDS); TALISMAN..

I shall post about it in a couplse of days.. But as for now I would like to thank you for reading this tl;dr post.. There would be more to come for the 2nd day of CosFest where the World Cosplay Summit will be held.. Expect more good cosplayers 2morrow.. ^^

I’ve decided to post both episodes together, since I’m really kinda late.

Episode 21:

Saji mourns the loss of his sister. I thought that she might make it out alive. Pity Saji..

Team Trinity is betrayed and launch a brief counterattack after their compound’s location is revealed. The UN Army continues its assault on Celestial Being, attacking the Ptolemaios in space.

Alejandro Corner learns that the GN-Xs were created by Laguna Harvey, who is later assassinated by Ali Al Sarshes. The Meisters’ units are out-gunned, and they struggle to defend themselves.

During the battle, Alejandro accesses Veda and deactivates the Meisters’ GN Drives, leaving them defenseless. However, Sumeragi activates a backup system and every unit except Virtue is able to reactivate.

Seeing Tieria’s crippled state, Patrick Colasour goes for the killing blow. Lockon manages to intercept the attack, but is severely injured. The battle ends with the UN Army retreating after losing two of their GN-X units, thanks to the timely arrival of the GN Arms.

Meanwhile, the governments of the AEU, Union, and HRL consider the mission a success and begin their research into the possible reproduction of the GN Drive.

Episode 22:

As Lockon recovers from his injuries, the UN Army announces its plan to destroy the Gundams, “Operation Fallen Angel”. The HRL’s GN-X Squadron continues to harass the exhausted Trinity siblings.

Observing on Ptolemaios, the Meisters wonder if they must be destroyed to finally end war. Setsuna rejects this notion, stating that the actions of both the Thrones and the U.N. have only escalated the conflict, not solved it, and that the Gundams should stand for the eradication of armed conflict.

Setsuna, wanting to learn the true purpose of the Gundams and following Lockon’s suggestion that the HRL’s attacks on Team Trinity require armed intervetion on Celetial Being’s part, goes down to Earth with Lasse in the GN Arms.

Meanwhile, Ali deceives Team Trinity and hijacks Throne Zwei after killing Michael, then destroys Throne Eins killing Johann along with it. Ali prepares to finish off Nena, but Setsuna arrives and engages in melee combat with Ali in the Throne Zwei.

On the Moon, Alejandro gains control of Veda and discovers Aeolia in cryostasis. Taking out a golden gun, Alejandro fires repeatedly into the capsule, but his actions set off a system trap.

The trap unlocks the ‘Trans-Am System’ on the four original Gundams, giving them access to the full power and capabilities of their GN Drives. Using the capabilities unlocked by the new system, Setsuna’s Exia suddenly gains a 300% speed increase.

Exia quickly cripples Throne Zwei, forcing Ali to retreat in hysteria.

Now I figured out why they keep on holding to Saji and his family and friends for a long time since I don’t see any improvement from episode 1 – 19..

Well, with Louise’s disapproval of his engagement proposal and Kinue’s death, Saji is confirm becoming the new character to fight the Gundam Meisters.. Just looking at his hatred and you just know it..

I do not know what Saji will be in the future episodes but he might be one of those sub-bosses to fight the Gundam Meisters..

What happen to Nena after she got saved by Exia? Maybe she will join the original Gundam Meister since she’s the only trinity left and she and her long-gone brothers got betrayed by Laguna Harvey..

Though some questions are revealed, more of other ones just keep popping up.. And please give the 4 gundams a newer form like Gundam Seed.. They seriously need a new look..

Newer topics that have been revealed are the mentions of GN Arms by the crew of the Ptolemaeus.. By some pictures shown by forums, it looks like a METEOR unit in Gundam Seed..

Next will be the scene where Saji’s sister, Kinue was seen brutally injured in the chest and reaching out for her wallet containing a picture of her, her father and Saji.

This is just sad to watch..

She was critically injured by Ali al-Sarshes, the mercenery who is an insane antagonist. He is seriously whacked out..

Then the green haired follower is revealed to have the same ability as Virtues pilot, Tieria Arde.. His name is now finally revealed as..

3rd, we get to see the Trinity Gundams doing their normal job of eradicating a military base owned by Human Reform League ( HRL )..

Looks totally evil..

They are in a rude shock when the HRL got their own version of Gundams.. The Curse Gundams..

Looks way cooler than the Celestial Beings version.

They kicked the Trinity Gundams’ ass pretty well.. Too well till the Trinity Gundams were forced to retreat..

PWNED!!

Now the series is getting better.. It’s now between Gundams.. Even Sumeragi-san said so..

Another thing that is on most people’s mind is Wang Liu Mei who now seem as an evil woman… She made a deal with the Trinity and she was walking away smiling..

This is what she said:

“Yes, if it (the world) doesn’t change soon, I would rather see it destroyed” With an evil smile.

Lastly, it’s revealed that the main control room of Veda is located at the moon.. Livonze Almark brought his boss there ( Don’t know his name ) using their own mothership..

Now Gundam 00 is going on the right track.. It’s going to become an intense and also interesting show..

Also in the preview of episode 21, we see Gundam Exia floating in space, similar to Kira Yamato Strike Gundam in Gundam Seed.. 4 more episodes till the end of season 1..
