With Hayate No Gotoku ending in one more week, I decided to review the songs from the OPs and the EDs which I find quite nice to listen to..

After a good review of all 6 songs; 2 OPs and 4 EDs, I’ve picked 2 of them, 1 OP and 1 ED.. The ED song is “Get my way!” by Mami Kawada..

The 2nd song is the OP for the 3rd Season of Hayate No Gotoku.. The song is titled “Shichiten Hakki ☆ Shijōshugi!” by KOTOKO..

Both songs are nice although I would recommend the others to be listened too.. Well, their reputation is well-known online and also in Comiket ( Comic Market )..

Other than Hayate No Gotoku, they also sang songs for Shakugan No Shana, both in Season 1 & 2.. I wonder what songs are they going to sing for oncoming animes sponsored by Geneon Entertainment..

I was thinking of buying the albums, but I’m on a tight budget as I’m also planning to buy all the Gundam 00 model kits..

One of the most interesting series to watch.. Although I’m late to catch this show, I will make an effort to publicise this anime to my anyone who may also missed this series..

Here is the synopsis of the series..

“Hayate Ayasaki is renowned as the industry’s fastest delivery boy, until his employer fires him on Christmas Eve after learning that he is underage. To his dismay, he learns that his irresponsible parents, whom he supported since the age of eight, received his monthly payment of 170,000 yen (about US$1500). Returning home, he finds that they lost all but twelve yen gambling away his salary and garnered a 156,804,000 yen debt to a yakuza, who they attempt to pay off by selling Hayate’s organs as a Christmas gift.

Escaping from the yakuza, Hayate decides to kidnap a young girl named Nagi Sanzen’in for ransom money, but fails miserably by giving away his own name. In addition to that, his intended hostage mistakes his request for her to come with him to be a confession of love. Just as Hayate lies down and waits to freeze to death, a bike runs over him and he meets Maria, who is looking for Nagi. Hayate is smitten with her at first glance, though initially, he lies to Maria by saying that he didn’t know anything about Nagi. Hayate’s spirits lift when Maria gives Hayate her scarf, and shocked by her kindness, he goes on to save Nagi when she is kidnapped by a pair of brothers who owed money to the same yakuza. After saving Nagi, he asks her to find him a new job before collapsing from his injuries. This leads him to becoming Nagi’s new butler, who must protect Nagi from all sorts of trouble while performing normal duties alongside Maria, who is Nagi’s maid.”

My favourite character in the show??

It’s obviously Hinagiku-san.. She’s quite a funny person and can shift moods according to different situations.. I prefer her more angry side.. Look so cool!! Especially when she’s holding her shinai..

Her sister, Yukiji Katsura however is a total opposite of her.. But thats the strong point which makes me think that opposites do attract.. So they both kinda makes the show much more interesting in such a way..

Although I watched only till episode 15, I find this series can have a sequel even after the show ends with 4 more episodes.. ( Well, total episodes is 52 )

Anyway, long story short for episode 15.. Hayate got his school pass to study in Hakuou Academy which Nagi is studying in.. Nagi didn’t feel like going to school as usual but Hayate’s ‘poor-looking’ face creates a charm from Nagi’s point of view..

One way or another, I’m gonna watch this show 1 per day since I’m busy planning about the upcoming EAPlay08 at Marina Square tis weekend..
