Although I got these a few weeks ago, I didn’t manage to find the time to post about them till now.. I have here 2 illustration books; “Hatsune Miku Graphics” by a collaboration of Piapro & Crypton and “Project DIVA Master Book” by SEGA.. Both are very interesting books since they have their own unique contents but I’ll do a review on them individually some other time..

As for now, I shall help Fuzzy gets his new Rin shirt he just spotted~ XD

Anyway, I need to ask, is it ok if I say… make a yaoi-esque parody of this entire matter? I mean, I would still inject some yaoi humour in unless I get another letter of no-nos.

Disclaimer: I’m not against homosexuality or anything. I’m just kinda shocked agape at what Fariz has been told. So… Iunno. Can’t let this pass.

Yoshito Usui, author of the famous manga Crayon Shin-chan, has been found dead on mount Arafune, apparently after a hiking trip gone wrong.

The 51-year-old author’s body was reported lying under the Tomoiwa cliff by a male hiker. His personal belongings was found near his body, including his backpack and mobile phone. He had been reported missing a week prior.

His remains were airlifted from the scene for autopsy, with police concluding he died of a collapsed lung and other injuries incurred during the fall, confirming the identity of the corpse with dental records.

The precise circumstances surrounding his death are not known, but police do not seem to be considering foul play or suicide likely explanations; attention focuses on the precarious and unfenced nature of the trail, although it is said to have long been accident free.

The publishers of the manga has extended their condolences to the family, and will review the uncertain future of Crayon Shin-chan’s publication.

I read Shin-Chan when I was young and still read the old comics I find of Shin-Chan so it was kind of sad to hear of this news.

Apparently, he fell from this cliff.

Does this spell the end for Shin-Chan?

Even after a day has passed that I can still feel that the Anime Festival Asia 08 (Day 2) only ended a few hours ago.. It has been a memorable moment to go and attend such a good event (Could be better).. It is even better that me and Fuzzy got some loot while we were there but for that part it will be for the upcoming posts..

So for the 2nd day, I came at around 11am while my brother, Fuzzy came later since he has projects to do during the day.. Anyway, since I walked most of the important areas in the convention like the Toys & Toys figure showcase, KKnM, LaTendo and etc, I decided to take a look at the other booths like for example the Sky Crawler Booth..

They showed the full details about the vehicles used in the movie itself, the places which inspired them to make the respective scenes and also about the character themselves..

They even showed us the artwork of the upcoming movie and also the some shots from the movie itself..

This movie looks promising and it will be out in Singapore by the end of this month or perhaps next month.. ^^

Apart from just that booth, there was also the “Xedo” booth which apparently has a glass cabinet that is filled with 3 Shana figures.. I particularly like this Shana figure, especially her dangling necklace named Alastor..

This Shana figurine has a nice pose though I find her red-hair colour looks flat..

There are also alot of figures showcased at the Toys & Toys figure showcase but that will be for another entry.. Here is a sneak peek of what to come.. ^^

Next up is the Graphite booth which is filled with alot of good artworks by Imaginary Friends Studio (IFS), Collateral Damage Studios (CDS) and even other artists from the region..

There were also some nice mangas to be seen and there was also some sale of many types of manga series (Which I din’t really take a look xP) There was also a special booth showcasing the “40 years of Shonen Jump” but unfortunately, not alot of people were interested in it.. =_=

Apart from just booths and Figures, there were also some some nice cosplayers to be seen during the convention..

The Vocaloid Team looks pretty decent.. I like the Mikuo cosplayer.. xD

At about 2pm+ there was the Cosplay Competition where cosplay teams battle it out to get the 1st Prize.. There were about 9 teams in the competition and I must say that they did well in their performance (Except for the last one)..

After the cosplay competition, me and the rest of the group; Team Blue, SP and MY bloggers, got a chance to see Ichirou Mizuki’s “15 mins of AWESOMEness” with his Ani-songs.. His performance was amazing, especially the Mazinger song.. ^^

At 7pm, we get to see a wonderful performance by MAY’N in her 1-hour concert.. Everyone screamed her name (Some got it as “MAY’N which is supposed to be pronounce as “MEIN” but that is not as worst as saying “MAIN”… =_=).. Due to the rule stating that no media of her can be used during her concert, I will just stick to using this then..

It is worth it to stay longer to see her concert..

The event ended at about 10pm there, an hour after MAY’N's concert ended.. It was also around that time that we got ourselves some good loots since the shops prefer the items being sold than having themselves bringin back leftovers back to their respective shops..

Even after the end of the event, we still manage to see a mini “Hare Hare Yukai” performance.. xD

Well, thats it for the 2nd day of the AFA08.. I hope you all get to enjoy the event last weekend and perhaps get some good loots.. It was a great pleasure to meet other bloggers like Shin, Setsuna-san, E-Jump and more..

About the cosplayers and the figurines entry, I will post about them very soon since I do have a couple of pictures each… It will be kind of a waste if I squeeze them in this entry.. So do wait for them.. ^^

To those who thought that this would be the end of the anime event/convention, don’t fret.. There will be the next cosplay event, EOY 08, which will be held next month.. Do get ready for it!!

It has been another month and it is time to showcase another chapter in the ever famous Hatsune Mix manga.. It is rather slow for me this month to post such good Miku stuff as I am very busy juggling my job and my personal life.. Well, you will learn to cherish your love ones very much just like how this manga goes..

So let us begin with this sad story shall we?? The story begins when a 3D Hatsune Miku was doing her performance at a concert, singing songs for everyone like she always do.. However, this wasn’t a normal performance everyone will remember..

Well, as you can see, Hatsune Miku suddenly fell down to her knees in front of everyone, even to her “brother” Kaito… Without any reason, she felt so weak that she collapsed…

She was rushed to an American hospital (Crypton, hmm…) in room 3(0)9 to get treatment on her sudden collapsed during the last concert.. Her chances of survival was pretty slim, so says the newspaper articles.. Kaito was very sad to see Miku in such a poor state..

It is pretty emotional to see someone who you cared in a very poor state.. -_-

Unfortunately, fate wasn’t on his side as Hatsune Miku succumbed to whatever illness she has and passed away.. Kaito was very distraught at what had happened since Miku was the “only relative” (in this story) he has..

Well, several years has passed and one day, Kagamine Len was browsing through what is perhaps NicoVideo when he stumbled on a new Hatsune Miku song.. Though he can’t believe it, he still clicked on the link and was amazed at what he saw..

Well, to know how that happened since the 3D Miku passed away, do get it from Xenosium.. He is good at doing the translation.. ^^

This chapter is the most emotional one I’ve read.. It is sad not just because Hatsune Miku passed away so suddenly, but also feel sad to see someone a person cared so much just disappear and you can’t do anything to save her.. But yeah, life moves on, as told in this manga so do get one for yourselves..

I currently have Chapter 9 with me but I will post about it in the next month, probably in the first week.. However, I would say that that chapter is very random.. Till then, do enjoy your stay here.. xD

The reason is that Kaito spent all the money buying ice creams for his “business”.. So off they go finding jobs..


Well, they really search all possible jobs available to them.. One of them which Hatsune Miku took was being an Elevator Girl..


But what she didn’t expect was the number of people going into the lift and telling her which floor they are going.. Because of that well, things didn’t go well.. -_-;;


Due to that, she had to find other jobs.. Well, here we have Miku working as a voice actress.. Its pretty funny looking at her expression..

Well, other than just Hatsune Miku looking for the perfect job, even the Kagamine Twins were looking for some good jobs, but failed somehow.. xD

Well, in the end, Hatsune Miku and the Kagamine Twins managed to collect enough money for them to do a concert.. They were very eager to show Meiko the money they received.. Well, that is one happy ending…
