<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Even though the song MELTDOWN was released at the end of last year, remixes of it are still popping up till this day.. In the original song, also known as &#8220;<strong>【鏡音リン】炉心融解【オリジナル】</strong>&#8220;, you could listen to Kagamine Rin singing beautifully to the trance song with beautiful 3D &amp; 2D animations running nicely as the song plays on.. I was pretty much mesmerized with the song when I first listen to it..</span></p>
<p><span id="more-1924"></span><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Well, before I continue on about the remix, I think its best that we get to listen to it.. I hope you love listening to this song.. ^^</span></p>
<p><a></a><br />
<span style="color: #00ff00;"><strong>&#8220;MELTDOWN (R.K.Remix) &#8211; Kagamine Rin&#8221;:</strong></span></p>
<p align="center"><object width="550" height="445" data="http://www.youtube.com/v/ljWeyOodXpQ&amp;hl=en&amp;color1=0x006699;color2=0x54abd6&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D35" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ljWeyOodXpQ&amp;hl=en&amp;color1=0x006699;color2=0x54abd6&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D35" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /></object></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">This song was released just recently on NicoNicoDouga, on 1st June.. Although the lyrics are placed slightly at random than a previous remix sung by Hatsune Miku (Which I will show you later on), I still find the song very catchy.. Unlike the remix sung by Hatsune Miku, this one shows Kagamine Rin having more &#8220;singing-time&#8221; and Im guessing that Fuzzy really like it.. </span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">This song received about 20k views on the day of its release and for the 2nd day, received about 100k views which I say is a pretty amazing feat&#8230; </span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Moving on to its animation, there is little to say about it as the person didnt create any extravagant one like the Hatsune Miku remix version and the original song itself.. However, the lack of animations was instead replaced by a very visually stunning artwork of Kagamine being a rocker in a different MELTDOWN outfit (below), like her frilly skirt.. XD</span></p>
<p align="center"><a href="http://www.notcliche.com/universalstrikers/KyouranKyodai/Images/Songs/MELTDOWN/Meltdown_RKMix_2.jpg"><img class="alignnone" src="http://www.notcliche.com/universalstrikers/KyouranKyodai/Images/Songs/MELTDOWN/Meltdown_RKMix_2.jpg" alt="" width="550" /></a></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Apart from her dress is her very own &#8220;MELTDOWN&#8221; guitar which I really like the design.. The stage is also drawn nicely to fit Kagamine Rin rocker mood.. Ouh yeah, there is also a small video of her in a very hip dress right near the end of the music video.. Its alot different than the ones wore by the Kagamine Rin in the original song and Hatsune Miku in her remix..</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Now, I would like to show you all the remix sung by Hatsune Miku.. Called <strong>【初音ミク】　炉心融解　-nitamagoMix- 【リ ミック ス】</strong>, I prefer listening to this version since it has that &#8220;oomph&#8221; factor in it than the &#8220;R.K. Remix&#8221; version..</span></p>
<p><a></a><br />
<span style="color: #00ffff;"><strong>【初音ミク】　炉心融解　-nitamagoMix- 【リ ミック ス】:</strong></span></p>
<p align="center"><object width="550" height="334" data="http://www.youtube.com/v/lZROwfZrMkI&amp;hl=en&amp;color1=0x006699;color2=0x54abd6&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D18" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/lZROwfZrMkI&amp;hl=en&amp;color1=0x006699;color2=0x54abd6&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D18" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /></object></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Then last but not least, there is the original song made by &#8220;Iroha(sasaki)&#8221;.. Enjoy~</span></p>
<p><a></a><br />
<strong><span style="color: #00ffff;">【鏡音リン】炉心融解【オリジナル】</span></strong></p>
<p align="center"><object width="550" height="445" data="http://www.youtube.com/v/k7iDI8LUKEw&amp;hl=en&amp;color1=0x006699;color2=0x54abd6&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D18" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/k7iDI8LUKEw&amp;hl=en&amp;color1=0x006699;color2=0x54abd6&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D18" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /></object></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Well, before I end this wonderful entry, I would like to share this beautiful artwork created by no other than &#8220;nagimiso&#8221; himself.. It is indeed very nice and I applaud to him for his wonderful art skill.. ^^</span></p>

To those who know him, he was the composer of the song <em>&#8220;ShiningRay&#8221;</em> which got made into a 3D music video using MikuMikuDance..</span> <span id="more-1829"></span><span style="color: #ffff00;">The title for his/her latest song is called &#8220;Heavenly Blue&#8221;.. It is one of the best song I&#8217;ve heard so far and I pretty much think that you will surely enjoy listening to it too.. It&#8217;s a very beautiful music video, both in terms of animation and the music itself..</span> <span style="color: #ffff00;">As usual, let us take a look at the music video itself.. Do enjoy~</span> <a></a> <span style="color: #ff00ff;"><strong>&#8220;Heavenly Blue&#8221; &#8211; Hatsune Miku:</strong></span></p>
<p align="center"><object width="550" height="445" data="http://www.youtube.com/v/vNwU4v2Et1Q&amp;hl=en&amp;color1=0x006699;color2=0x54abd6&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D35" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/vNwU4v2Et1Q&amp;hl=en&amp;color1=0x006699;color2=0x54abd6&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D35" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /></object> <span style="color: #ffff00;">First up is the song itself.. Like &#8220;ShiningRay&#8221;, this song really delivers with the wonderful and catchy tune.. The song isnt like most monotone type of song where some people will get bored easily.. This song changes tempo according to the scene of the song + the lyrics itself..</span> <span style="color: #ffff00;">I also love how nice the musical instrument are played in this song.. It feels like a rock concert being held somewhere.. Sometimes I prefer listening to VocaRock (Vocaloid + Rock) as it feels more lively than typical Vocaloid songs..</span> <span style="color: #ffff00;">Now, about the animation itself, its visually stunning.. I praise the guy for doing an amazing job with the animation, from the gears to the clock to the effects itself.. I&#8217;m speechless at how great his work is.. What I do like is the girl in the music video, she looks lovely indeed.. Somehow I love the metal wings on her back.. XD</span></p>
<p align="center"><a href="http://www.notcliche.com/universalstrikers/KyouranKyodai/Images/Songs/HeavenlyBlue/Miku_Heavenly_Blue_2.jpg"><img class="alignnone" src="http://www.notcliche.com/universalstrikers/KyouranKyodai/Images/Songs/HeavenlyBlue/Miku_Heavenly_Blue_2.jpg" alt="" width="550" /></a> <span style="color: #ffffff;"><em>This girl is so lovely~~ Wish it was Miku instead.. XD</em></span> <span style="color: #ffff00;">Well, here is the lyrics to the song itself.. I hope you like it.. ^^</span> <a></a> <span style="color: #00ff00;"><strong>&#8220;Heavenly Blue&#8221; &#8211; Lyrics:</strong></span></p>
<blockquote><p>前の作品を見る 次の作品を見る 鮮やかに解けて消える　記憶の様 曖昧な昨日はもう死んでいったわ (I avoided,Cuz I can&#8217;t accept the fact) どれだけ時を待てばいいの どれだけ指を折ればいいの 伝えることができたら　それだけでいい 儚げに夢を見せる心模様 「サヨナラ」は一度きりの魔法の言葉 (Even&#8217;if I said that good morning)
<p><span style="color: #ffff00;">&#8220;164&#8243; was even kind enough to provide the Non-Vocal version of the song itself so anyone who wants to sing this song may want to use this..</span> <a></a> <strong><span style="color: #00ffff;">&#8220;Heavenly Blue&#8221; (Non-Vocal):</span></strong></p>

Image source: <a href="http://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=medium&amp;illust_id=2416958" target="_blank">Pixiv by yanmar</a></p>
<p>This post is part of a Team Blue’s first <a href="http://teamblue.clanbluepanthers.org/2009/01/round-robin-1-team-blogging-and-the-blogosphere/" target="_blank">Round Robin</a>, in which members try to post something regarding the given topic.</p>
<p>I’m also doing this to ease my mind after so much coding. ~_~</p>
<p><span id="more-899"></span></p>
<p>The collaboration of a group of individuals, the size of which may vary from 2 to any (reasonable) amount, in order to post and maintain a single blog. That’s team blogging in a nutshell.</p>
<p>Team blogging has become quite common in the anime “blogosphere”, with popular ones like <a href="http://riuva.com/" target="_blank">Riuva</a>. <a href="http://panther.clanbluepanthers.org/" target="_blank">Panther’s own blog</a> is also another example, though it’s more of a oh-I’m-looking-for-co-writers-for-my-blog rather than let’s-form-a-team thing. In the case of the latter, a group of (otaku) friends gather to create a blog dedicated to their ramblings about anime/otaku culture in general.</p>
<p>That brings me to my next point. Why form a team blog? Some form one (typically) to share the cost (or to mooch off the richer ones) of hosting a customised blog, complete with domain names and such. Others form up to alleviate the “weight” of keeping the blog active, e.g. posting regularly. Distributing the “load” among several people can bring about the illusion of constant activity.</p>
<p>In other words, they’re too lazy/busy to handle it themselves.</p>
<p>There are also other advantages to consider. Consider a team otaku-themed blog with 3 members. One person could focus on anime, another on games, and the last on figurines. The blog could then proudly claim that it’s covering 3 aspects of otaku culture, thus attracting more visitors, etc. Also, the more members you have in your team, the greater your coverage can be. Behold the power of diversity.</p>
<p>Then there are the risks behind forming a team blog. Let’s face it, it’s not easy finding a team of people able enough (as in free and not so damn lazy) to post. The majority of the members of a team blog have to be active contributers, otherwise the blog will either revert into an individual point (which defeats the purpose), or die away completely. :/</p>
<p align="center"><a href="http://img218.imageshack.us/img218/9866/154713mn9.jpg"><img src="http://img218.imageshack.us/img218/5466/154713smalliz4.jpg" alt="" /></a><br />
<p>Take for instance, a certain blog B, which is made up of writers C, D, E, and F, with C heing the leader.  Let’s say F enters National Service, and therefore cannot post. E goes into depression due to work issues (e.g. overdue assignments), and therefore cannot post either. D goes into an indefinite hiatus for no apparent reason (e.g. can’t be arsed), and eventually C gets sick of being all alone, and leaves, and the others follow suit.</p>
<p>Result: Completely dead team blog.</p>
<p>There are, however, many examples of team blogs that are still alive and kicking now. As I’ve mentioned before lot of people are following the trend of forming team blogs, especially since most people now are much more disciplined (and yet somehow too damn lazy to start blogs of their own). There’s somehow so much future behind forming a team blog than “roughing it out” and taking on the responsibility alone.</p>
<p>But then again, Kyouran Kyōdai is (technically) a team blog. Fariz and I joined up for a special reason: We’re brothers with very similar interests. We blogged about the same things before the merger, and it felt kinda silly posting about the same thing on two different blogs. Of course, I’m now the less active of the two here, though I have been contributing behind the scenes. I provide a lot of material for Fariz to post, and he (somehow) manages to post every single day/night.</p>
<p>Special case, I know, but it just proves a point: It’s just so CONVENIENT. And it is because of this conveniece that team blogging will be the future of anime blogging (or at least become really popular and common). Maybe it’ll reach the point where we look at individual bloggers and go “Wow I wonder how he/she managed that himself/herself”.</p>
<p>Well, that’s the end of my RR. Granted, it’s not the best essay I’ve written, since I’m exhausted from staying up late last night (apparently that can have a delayed effect on you), and I hoped you enjoyed it (as if).</p>
<p>*yawns*</p>
<p>Well, then, back to normal life.</p>

<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">After a few days of blogging, I finally found some free time to review the last of the figurines that I&#8217;ve got from the Anime Festival Asia 08 (AFA08) event.. Well, you have seen my short review about the Sega Hatsune Miku and Kagamine Rin a few weeks back (Click <a href="http://kyourankyodai.com/2008/11/30/sega-hatsune-miku-and-kagamine-rin-review/" target="_blank">here</a> to read the entry..). Now it is time to review about the Alter Tsuzaki Aoba and the mecha she is piloting; Moribito TYPE2.. ^^</span></p>
<p><span id="more-802"></span><span style="color: #ff00ff;">The original price for her is about <strong><span style="color: #00ffff;">6500 yen</span></strong> which is about <strong><span style="color: #ff9900;">SGD$100</span></strong> but during AFA08, she was sold at only <strong><span style="color: #00ff00;">SGD$50</span></strong> (which later reduced to a good price of <strong><span style="color: #00ff00;">SGD$40</span></strong>).. I got this chance since I watched the show back then.. </span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Tsuzaki Aoba and Moribito TYPE2 are actually from a manga series which later became an anime series called <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jinki_Extend" target="_blank">Jinki;Extend</a>.. It is about two girls who end up piloting giant humanoid robots called &#8220;Jinki&#8221; (which translates to &#8220;man-machine&#8221;).. </span></p>
<p align="center"><a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/?action=view&amp;current=JinkiExtend2.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/JinkiExtend2.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" /></a></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Here is the OP of the show:</span></p>
<p align="center"><object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="425" height="344" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/UHG--eNC-T8&amp;hl=en&amp;color1=0x006699;color2=0x54abd6&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D18" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/UHG--eNC-T8&amp;hl=en&amp;color1=0x006699;color2=0x54abd6&amp;ap=%2526fmt%3D18" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Well, let us begin with the review then.. So I was pretty impressed with how neat and tidy the figurine + the mecha were packaged inside the box.. They are also arranged nicely so that people will be impressed when they open the flap of the box.. </span></p>
<p align="center"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/Jinki_Extend_1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/Jinki_Extend_1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" width="550" height="413" /></a></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">I took a good look at the 1/8 scale Tsuzaki Aoba and I fell in love with her.. She comes in her torn and tattered &#8220;plugsuit&#8221;, showing that she just came back from battle.. This makes her look more manly than she is.. xD</span></p>
<p align="center"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/Jinki_Extend_2.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/Jinki_Extend_2.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" width="550" height="733" /></a></p>
<p align="center"><em><span style="color: #ffffff;">Front-view shot of Tsuzaki Aoba..</span></em></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">However, the suit looks like it is integrated with Tsuzaki&#8217;s skin, making the whole battle-worn effects abit weird.. At least that is compensated by her pose and her MOE face.. ^^</span></p>
<p align="center"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/Jinki_Extend_3.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/Jinki_Extend_3.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" width="550" height="733" /></a></p>
<p align="center"><em><span style="color: #ffffff;">Front-view of Tsuzaki Aoba..</span></em></p>
<p align="center"><a href="hhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/Jinki_Extend_4.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/Jinki_Extend_4.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" width="550" height="733" /></a></p>
<p align="center"><em><span style="color: #ffffff;">Side-View shot of her..</span></em></p>
<p align="center"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/Jinki_Extend_5.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/Jinki_Extend_5.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" width="550" height="733" /></a></p>
<p align="center"><em><span style="color: #ffffff;">Rear-view shot of Tsuzaki Aoba..</span></em></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Well, her base is quite simple; black in style which allows Tsuzaki to take the attention like most figurines do.. Her leg is nicely detailed too with abit of shine..</span></p>
<p align="center"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/Jinki_Extend_6.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/Jinki_Extend_6.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" width="550" height="733" /></a></p>
<p align="center"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/Jinki_Extend_7.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/Jinki_Extend_7.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" width="550" height="733" /></a></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Well, what makes this figurine special (and expensive) is that she comes together with her mecha during the Venezuela arc, Moribito TYPE2.. Well, its not even 1/100 or even 1/144.. Since its not stated on the box, I will just say the scale is about the same as the SD Gundams, though the head is not that big.. xD</span></p>
<p align="center"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/Jinki_Extend_8.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/Jinki_Extend_8.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" width="550" height="413" /></a></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">I would like to hand it to them, the mecha really looks very detailed, down to it&#8217;s edges.. The mecha comes with 2 blades, one for each hand, a rifle and a shield.. Due to time constraint, I&#8217;ve only managed to take pictures of it weilding the 2 blades..</span></p>
<p align="center"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/Jinki_Extend_9.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/Jinki_Extend_9.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" width="550" height="733" /></a></p>
<p align="center"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/Jinki_Extend_10.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/Jinki_Extend_10.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" width="550" height="413" /></a></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Seriously, they both look quite good together though I prefer the mecha to be slightly bigger than the current one.. Apart from that, I simply love them very much.. ^^</span></p>
<p align="center"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/Jinki_Extend_11.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/Jinki_Extend_11.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" width="550" height="733" /></a></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Though I can add that Moribito TYPE2 is more than meets the eye.. xD<br />
</span></p>
<p align="center"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/Jinki_Extend_12.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/universalstrikers/Kyouran%20Kyodai/Jinki_Extend_12.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" width="550" height="413" /></a></p>
<p align="center"><em><span style="color: #ffffff;">Caught red-handed.. Now I know why the mecha is made that small.. XP</span></em></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Well, thats it for this review.. I hope you enjoyed the shots I took using my N82.. I am still amazed at how clear the pictures are even under dimmed lighting.. But I would prefer having a dSLR camera of my own to take some great shots.. I wonder if my current pay is enough.. =3</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Well, as for now, I would like to take a good rest and prepare myself for a good run in Dead Space&#8230; That game is totally awesome.. ^^</span></p>
