I really liked how well the video was edited out to replace the original casts with the Vocaloid characters, from Official ones like Miku, Kaito and the Kagamine twins and also Unofficial ones like Akita Neru, Haku and Teto.. Miki and Megpoid were not left out either but the main character for this PV is Megurine Luka who have the same pink colour hair as Moka..

I really love the song sung by Mizuki Nana (and so does Chibi.. XD ) Luka’s version seems alrite though it can be improved in some part of the songs where her voice goes slightly off-tuned.. But I still give an “A” for the effort made not just on the song, but also the video editing itself too..

I was quite shocked to see this video up on NicoNicoDouga and also on Youtube too.. It is quite rare to see such Vocaloid anime PV to be made by a user called “Sorata” regarding about the Vocaloid gang set in a near future.. All of the official members of Vocaloid are included in the PV itself, and Fuzzy was very interested in watching the video itself when it was released a while ago..

The video is a compilation of 4 songs; “Hologram” （sm2017619）, “外界” （sm3647835）, “軌道エレベータ” （sm3348512） and “鉄巨人” （sm2471311）.. These songs are sung by both Hatsune Miku and Meiko and I saw that their voices are nicely composed to suit to match the tune of the song.. Congrats to all respective music composers.. ^^

Well, let us watch the wonderful anime PV shall we?

“The Near Future City” – Hatsune Miku & MEIKO:

Animation-wise, I would say it is quite good.. The animation is quite smooth and I love how detailed the characters are.. It feels as if I am really watching a real anime of itself.. I would like to thank “Nukoshiki” for doing the illustration on the giant robot on the 4th and final song of the PV itself.. Overall, I think alot of people will love this video.. Not your average music video, no?

Hopefully we get to see this sort of thing in the future (not so-distant ones lol).. I shall put this as one of my top favourite Vocaloid videos for this year.. XD

If you’re feed reader (for those of you that subscribe to our feed) has been updating quite a bit yesterday, don’t fret; it’s just me fixing up the website feed just right.

Till now we’ve adopted the “full feed” method; posts get aggregated in the feed in their entirety. This is especially useful for those who don’t really have time to open a new window just to read our post, preferring to scroll through whatever feed reader client they’re using.

Recently though, Kazearashi mentioned that the recent Miku FES’09 post was a bit taxing on his computer. This led me to a dilemma: Do I let the readers read the entire post in their feed readers and risk lagging them with excessive media, or truncate them and force them to click a link back to the blog?

For now, I’ve chosen the latter, and so far, it seems to be working out just fine. I do, however, like to reach out to our readers: Is this fine with you guys, or do you prefer the old feed method? Also, for those of you who own blogs, how do you optimise your feeds (if you do)?

Feel free to post your answers in the comments, whether it’s for the above question or for the question at the very top of this post (lolwut). =P

A new week passed and there is another good song sung by Hatsune Miku.. The song is titled, “Blaze” and it is about Hatsune Miku (the main character in the video) feeling shocked that her childhood friend (Kaito) has become her enemy.. The theme of the video is “Ninja in a Modern World” it features all the Vocaloid characters together with Akita Neru and Yowane Haku..

Before I carry on with the song, I would like to present to you the music video itself.. Enjoy~

“Blaze” – Hatsune Miku:

When I listened to the song, I was pretty impressed with how nice the music is.. The composer uses an Emo-Rock tune to create the song, making it unique to most Hatsune Miku songs I always listened to.. Well, its not surprising that the art isn’t what most do want but I do like one particular scene which attracted my attention (Top).. I do love the butterflies flying around her.. xD

I can expect that this song will make it to the Vocaloid Weekly and I am pretty hopeful that it will make it to at least one of the Top 10 spots in the ranking.. ^^

Recently, there are some videos released on NicoNicoDouga that are made using the MikuMikuDance program.. Well, they are made for the MikuMikuDanceCup (MMDC) which is now having an ongoing voting progress to see which video will claim top spot in the MMDC.. Well, before we start on the Cup, let us get to know about this MikuMikuDance (MMD) program..

MikuMikuDance is a 3D program filled with 3D lookalike of Official and non-official Vocaloid characters like Hatsune Miku, Akita Neru, Megurine Luka, etc.. You can create dance moves for any of the characters by crontolling their skeletons.. Its quite fun actually..

This was when I made my first MMD dance, Caramelldansen.. xD

Now back to main topic.. Well, I just watched the MMD videos which made it to the top 100 spots in the MMDC and I pretty much like them.. Some of them are quite amazing too, even better than some normal Vocaloid 3DPVs that appear on the net.. Well, the contest result will be held at 24th February but there is already a video showcasing which 100 MMD video are the top picks by viewers..

When I saw this video, I was amazed at how well-made the animation was.. The animator really puts effort into the little details such as the fingers strumming the correct note on the guitar.. Although I prefer more scenes in this video, I still love it… xD

The best MMD video I’ve seen so far, even the fans love it as well.. I initially thought this was just a random video but after watching it I instantly got hooked to it.. The animation is so well-made that it is almost like a mini-anime itself.. The techno music is quite nice to listen to.. Its catchy tune makes the whole show quite interesting and it actually synchronize well with the animation.. I really enjoyed watching it.. =3

Well, while going through NicoVideo for more Miku Goodness, I chanced upon this great video of a very nice song I heard quite a long time ago.. The song was titled 【初音ミク】ぽっぴっぽー【種類も増えたよ！！】 or also known as “Vegetable Juice”.. It was made by the same person who did the 【初音ミク】驫麤～とりぷるばか～ (附中文字幕) also known as “Triple Baka”.. Well, this started a meme of its own..

When I watched this video, I was taken aback by the sheer cuteness of Octopus Luka.. Her singing is quite is quite nice indeed, better than the original Luka version.. However, I LOL’ed at the part when she screamed, “pi——————–” =_=;;

Although I do love Megurine’s singing in this video, I find it strange that in some part of the song, her voice almost sound like a male.. D= Apart from that, I feel that the song seems ok to me..

Touhou Version:

The song is similar to the Hatsune Miku PV version though I do not mind it at all.. I love the simple yet funny animation in the video.. I also like the 2 characters in the video, very kawaii~~ Sure will love to see them around again.. =3

Nothing to say much about this version except that when he sings the word “Popipo~” sounds really weird.. And I ROFL-ed at the “WRRRRRRYYYYYYYY!” instead of “pi————-”… xD

Although the dance moves seem generic, I do love how the animation goes.. Kinda love how the other Vocaloid characters joined Miku in doing the dance together.. Apart from that, I praise the person who made this video using MikuMikuDance.. ^^

Well, thats all I have for this great entry about “Vegetable Juice”.. I didn’t know there were alot more versions of the video until I searched around on the net for them.. Initially when I first listened to this song, I did love it but was kinda turned off by the video itself.. Well, after awhile I got used to it and enjoyed listening to it.. I hope there are more songs which can become a meme of its own..

Well, as news of Migurine Luka’s release on 31st January appears, we get to see so many fan-made pictures of her in so many sites, even her preview songs on Youtube and NicoVideo got so many hits recently.. Apparently, the arrival of Megurine Luka sparks off a chain reaction of some of the old classic songs to be brought back to live in NicoVideo..

Speaking of which, in Vocaloid Weekly #67, we get to see a revival of old VOCALOID songs which most of them were in TOP spot from a few weeks back to a couple of months ago.. Classic songs like 【初音ミク】 サイハテ 【アニメ風PV・オリジナル曲】, 【鏡音レン】悪ノ召使【中世物語風オリジナル】 and even 【初音ミク】夜・逃・げでリセット！改【柊つかさ】 are getting famous again for no reason at all.. 29 – 【KAITO・MEIKO】東ノ暁 西ノ黄昏【オリジナル】: A lovely duet by KAITO and MEIKO, this instrumental song will simply mesmerize you with the sweet music playing together with the song. Although the singing by the both of them are abit funny, the synchronization singing compensates for it.. I also like the outfit they both are wearing.. ^^
25 – 【鏡音レン】悪ノ召使【中世物語風オリジナル】: This old song sung by the Kagamine Twins made a good comeback in the Vocaloid Weekly.. Well, the song is pretty soothing, which will leave you listening to the whole song.. I love the chorus of the song, their voice sound so beautiful together with the song.. This is one song I recommend everyone to listen to..
21 – 【MikuMikuDance】Acousticにしてあげる♪: I instantly fell in love with this song when I first listen to it.. It is actually an acoustic version of the ever famous song “Miku Miku Shite Ageru” which started the Hatsune Miku craze and made her famous.. I like how Miku sang the whole song slowly but lovely with Yowane Haku playing along with the guitar.. Even with MikuMikuDance program, the whole video is wonderful indeed.. xD
20 – ロリコムとタイツォンが初音ミクと××× 「ブレイクアウト！」: Another nice song sung by Hatsune Miku. Made by LOLI.COM, this catchy song has Hatsune Miku singing along with an unknown guy (nice voice though).. The chorus is the one that will entice you to listen to this awesome song.. I also love the pictures used in this song, Hatsune Miku simply looks MOE indeed.. Another recommended song for everyone to listen to..
05 – 【初音ミク】夜・逃・げでリセット！改【柊つかさ】: Another old and classic has made a comeback into the rankings, taking one of the TOP 5 spots in this Vocaloid Weekly.. This is a Hatsune Miku rendition of the famous Lucky Star song.. This song is very nice to listen to and will simply mesmerize you.. Hatsune Miku’s voice in this song sounds very sweet when she is singing the song and there isn’t any mistake with her voice synthesizing like most songs have.. I ROFL-ed at the random Miku animation in the video though they are quite entertaining at times.. xD

Now moving on to the TOP 3 spots in the Vocaloid Weekly #67:

3rd Place – 初音ミクで「Do-Dai」: A great song by Hatsune Miku.. This song is a Hatsune Miku of the famous song “Do Dai” in the X-Box360 exclusive game, iDOLM@STER.. This animation, to my surprise is made with the program called VOCALOIDM@STER, a better version of MikuMikuDance.. However, doing such moves using this program is very difficult to script, according to some forums.. Well, the singing and dancing is wonderful and I recommend everyone to watch it.. ^^
2nd Place – 【鏡音リン】炉心融解【オリジナル】: What can I say more? Music is simply lovely and the animation is awesome.. Nuff said..
1st Place – 【VOCALOID】ニコニコ替え唄メドレー 第３幕: A very nice medley song by the whole cast of VOCALOID, including Gackpoid… The funny part is is that they are not singing the lyrics of the song according to the original songs themselves.. Instead, they are singing using their own lyrics.. Whatever the case, I love the singing indeed.. Some of the songs will you confused but there are songs that are quite funny to listen to.. This song deserves to be in TOP Spot..

As said before, this Vocaloid Weekly have some great old classic songs making a good comeback, even with one song making it to TOP 5 spot which is 【初音ミク】夜・逃・げでリセット！改【柊つかさ】.. The song is simply nice to listen again after a long time out of the ranking.. Well, don’t forget the other nice classics like 【初音ミク】 サイハテ 【アニメ風PV・オリジナル曲】 and 【鏡音レン】悪ノ召使【中世物語風オリジナル】…

Well, there are also some new songs which impresses me such as 初音ミクで「Do-Dai」 and the TOP Spot song, 【VOCALOID】ニコニコ替え唄メドレー 第３幕.. They both are simply amazing to listen, more less are entertaining to watch too.. This Vocaloid Weekly is indeed a very goo classical performance.. ^^

Well, I guess I have to start rushing and post my figure review entry ASAP.. There are still > 9000 entries for me to post, just didn’t have enough time to prepare everything.. =_=;; Reason for rushing is that I will be going on a holiday to Kuala Lumpu in Malaysia.. I guess I can take a good break there too.. ^^

So as for now, I will take a look at my current situation and post whatever entries I can do.. Doing a rushed entry isn’t good actually since there isnt any quality in it.. Well, do wait for them then, especially my figure review entry..

This is the season to by jolly.. Christmas and the New Year was around the corner and alot of people celebrated the holidays with much fanfare.. I could still remember the days when people were rushing to buy out gifts for their friends and families.. Even I got my own Christmas gifts from my work colleague at work.. I am very happy to receive and I hope you all did too..

28 – 【初音ミクオリジナル曲】CROSS【PV付】: A very slow and emotional song sung by Hatsune Miku.. This song starts out well and entice you to listen to the whole song.. I simply love the slow drum beat; Amplifying the effects of the song itself.. Together with the musical keyboard, both of them are a great combination in this song, making this one of my recommended song for everyoen to listen to.. ^^
20 – 鏡音リン・レンオリジナル曲　「ウタハコ://Ｋ」: A very nice hip Christmas song sung by the Kagamine Twins.. I love how the song begins; Drum rolling for a 2 secs before the main song comes out.. I also loves how lively the Kagamine Twins sing in this great song.. But I do find it weird when they talk instead of singing; They sound way too off.. Apart from that, I do love when they do the duet together, it sounds amazing..
Sung by Hatsune Miku, this rock song will surely grabs your atte18 – 初音ミクにオリジナル曲「NEW SONG」歌わせてみた:ntion.. The rhythmic sound of the drum beating together with the music will entice you to listen to it.. Furthermore, the song sounds catchy, together with Miku’s great singing makes this song a must hear.. However, I still dont know why there is a pic of Miku with Yuki in it.. Maybe its Tissue-Hime? ^^;;
16 – 『初音ミク』虹色蝶々『オリジナル』: This song sung by Hatsune Miku is one of the greatest.. The classical tune will surely mesmerize you, especially with the classical musical instrument playing in the background.. I simply love the chorus of the song, the drum beat is quite relaxing to listen to even though it is playing quite softly along with the other musical instruments.. I love Miku’s voice in this wonderful voice, simply a good song to listen..
06 – 【鏡音リン・鏡音レン】アドレサンス(Adolescence)【サンドリヨン鏡音ver.】: Known by most as the Kagamine Twins rendition of Kaito and Miku’s 【初音ミクKAITO】サンドリヨン（Cendrillon）【オリジナル09】, this song was made for Kagamine Twins birthday on 27th December.. The Kagamine Twins’ voice sounds wonderful in this song.. I also love the drawings on both Kagamine Rin and Len, especially Rin herself.. She looks quite cute no? xD This is a well-made song I might add.. =3

3rd Place – 【初音ミク】Lonely X’mas!【クリスマス（笑）】: Another sweet and wonderful\ Christmas song sung by Hatsune Miku… The song is very catchy and quite soothing to listen to if you trying to find a relaxing song.. Apart from the simple drawing of characters in the video, the sweet chorus will makes you want to sing along with the music..
2nd Place – ロリコムとタイツォンが初音ミクと××× 「ブレイクアウト！」: This catchy song sung by Hatsune Miku will surely attracts your attention.. This song is a collaboration between 4 people; LOLI.COM who some of you know made 【ロリコム】本当に大事なのはひとつだけ【カラオケ配信決定！】, タイツォン, けったろ who I know made the song 【砂時計】 歌ってみた　けったろ 【僕みたいな君みたいなアンサー】 and last but not least, くろば.. The music is so with the nice beat playing in the background.. I also love the duet of the guy who sing along with Miku.. Very mesmerizing song indeed..
1st Place – 【鏡音リン】炉心融解【オリジナル】: Known as “Meltdown”, this song has gained TOP Spot after being in 2nd place in the previous Vocaloid Weekly.. Sung by Kagamine Rin, this song will blow you away with such great animation, even 3D too and also the sweet voice of Kagamine Rin herself.. I do love the tune of the song, very catchy and quite soothing in a sense.. I have now placed this song in my PSP.. ^^

In this Vocaloid Weekly, we get to listen some wonderful Christmas songs.. Christmas songs like 鏡音リン・レンオリジナル曲　「ウタハコ://Ｋ」 and even 【初音ミク】クリスマスはバイトだ！【オリジナル】 which truly mesmerize you with their sweet voices and the nice music.. This Vocaloid Weekly, we could see alot of good songs battling it out to get the TOP Spot.. The song 初音ミクがオリジナル曲を歌ってくれたよ「初めての恋が終わる時」 by Ryo/Supercell fell into 7th place which shocked me initially as I watched the ranking, I guess great song doesn’t stay long on TOP Spot.. =_=;;

Well, I know I have to work as doubly hard this new year as I only have a month to go till my internship ends.. Well, I do feel that time flies so quickly when I am doing work in the office.. Lets hope that I get to finish the internship on a good note and get a good grade so that I can pursue my studies in university after doing my National Service (NS)..

As for now, I shall prepare to go to work and hopefully get my December pay so that I can buy the DeTolf cabinet.. My figurines are still in their respective boxes.. =3

Even as the hype of the End OF Year event which was held last Saturday; From cosplayers to the doujin booths lingers on in some forums and blogs, I have decided to move on to my weekly posting of the Vocaloid Weekly.. It has been a few days since I postponed this entry as I was busy photoshopping the images I took during the event.. Well, there are so many anime-related events held in Singapore this year and posting about them do result in some of the entries going into backlogs.. =_=;;

Now, moving on to the Vocaloid Weekly #62, we’ve seen quite a couple of good songs that were showcased.. Songs like 【初音ミク】プラグアウト【オリジナル】, 【初音ミク】sleeping beauty【オリジナル】, 【初音ミク】「カナシキヒステリックガール」【オリジナル】are some of the many songs that I find to be very nice to listen to.. Another thing is that in Vocaloid Weekly #62, we can see a competition of songs between Hatsune Miku and Kagamine Rin.. This could be an epic battle for top SPOT which is taken by 【VOCALOID】HONEY – NANAMEUE ALL☆STARS【3DPV】.. ^^

28 – 「ニコニコ☆おまじない」完成版　feat.初音ミク　【オリジナル曲】: A very cute song composed by ラマーズＰ and sung by Hatsune Miku.. It has Miku singing in the chorus, “Nico Nico Nico” which makes her sound very kawaii~.. Well, initially I thought it was “Neko Neko Neko” but the spelling is different.. Overall, I find the song very sweet.. Perhaps someone could make a Animated PV like “Triple Baka”.. ^^
20 – 【初音ミク】プラグアウト【オリジナル】: A very nice trance songs.. Also known as “Plug Out”, this song proves to be a very soothing yet has that rocking melody.. Even though it is nice, I kinda dislike the 1 minute of having to listen to the repeating tune over and over again till the singing part.. Apart from that, this song is still a good recommendation by me so do get to listen to this song.. ^^
19 – 【初音ミク×神威がくぽ】「ラストプロトコル」オリジナル曲: A duet of Hatsune Miku and Gackpoid, this song also known as “Last Protocol” has an amazing tune with the sweet melody playing in the background.. The song is nicely-composed and the duet singing by Miku and Gackpoid coincide well with one another.. I also love the artwork too, especially the costume Miku is wearing.. ^^
17 – 【初音ミク】「カナシキヒステリックガール」【オリジナル】: Now this is one of the nicest Hatsune Miku song.. The catchy tunes will mesmerize you till you would want to listen to the whole song.. The chorus was nice but, it it is made better, it will be very beautiful.. I also find some parts of the song abit off tune but that is still ok.. ^^
21 – みんなで協力して初音ミクに「笑顔」を歌ってもらった: A very sad and emotional love song by Miku.. Well, Miku’s melodic voice will makes you want to listen to this song.. The song is made simple yet eye-catching; Putting only 2 pictures which coincides with the song itself.. This song is another good recommendation too.. xD

Now moving on to the TOP 3 songs of the Vocaloid Weekly #61:

3rd Place – 初音ミクオリジナル曲 「Message in our silence」: A very cool rock song by Hatsune Miku.. It has the nice drum beat playing in the background.. The song starts out slow and gradually increase speed with the drum and guitar coming into the song.. Another great song by ジミーサムＰ..
2nd Place – 初音ミクオリジナル曲　「ひとひらの」: This song is simply good to listen to IMO.. The catchy tune and the nice chorus would make you listen to the whole song.. The awesome and soothing music will simply mesmerize you.. It is good that it has gone up to 2nd Place from 3rd Place previously.. I recommend this song to everyone.. ^^
1st Place – 【VOCALOID】HONEY – NANAMEUE ALL☆STARS【3DPV】: What can I say more about this song? Well, this song is just pretty awesome.. The 3D work is amazing and the song is very nice to listen to.. Well, lets just hope that it will stay on on the TOP SPOT for another week then.. xD

As I listened to some of the songs, I do find them very sad and emotional, some of which almost makes me want to cry when I am feeling down.. However, there are some songs that will cheer you up and smile when you listen to them.. Songs like 「ニコニコ☆おまじない」完成版　feat.初音ミク　【オリジナル曲】 and 【VOCALOID】HONEY – NANAMEUE ALL☆STARS【3DPV】 are some of the very songs that do so..

The good thing about this Vocaloid Weekly is that they are no random songs that can be found in previous weeks.. Although I feel quite happy about it, I kinda miss the old randomness those songs make.. =_=;;

Well, after thinking about it for some time, I have decided that I will blog whenever I can, possibly everyday but will take a rest every now and then.. Reason is that I would like to catch up with reading other ppl’s blog and would love to see what great news they have..

As for now, I will get myself ready for some gaming in the latest game to hit town, Runes of Magic.. More on that later on perhaps.. ^^
